This place is a hidden gem! I live in Rochester and the only reason I've had Peppinos is because my girlfriend lives in Ontario. Everyone in Rochester says Tony D's, Pane Vino, Pasta Villa, ect... are the best Italian spots... Peppino's got them beat! Food is always phenomenal, Sunday sauce amazing, soups amazing, great service. Doesn't look like a fancy spot, but definitely a must if you are in Ontario or want to get out of Rochester!!

I was lucky to get in with out a reservation, food was great service great tables a little close feels like a dinner. Give them time to fix atmosphere we love it and are going back soon.

First visit. Ordered red sauce with Linguine, a meatball and a sausage. Sauce was a little too sweet gpr my taste but not bad. Excellent meatball. Sausage was good but not great, a little tough. Wife ordered the Gnocchi which was very good. Next time I'll try the Chicken Piccata or the bolonese.

Was super excited to try Peppinos for the first time after hearing the hype . As I walked in the customer service was great and my food was ready 5 minutes early. I drove 35 minutes home to open our food to see “something“ on the top of my entre. My boyfriend & I ordered the same exact meal & his did not have what I had on top of mine. Same dish but no consistency.

Excellent food and service. Good size portions. Numerous sauces for pasta including 3-4 different red sauces. I had Veal Parm with traditional red sauce and wife had Veal Marsala. Both were excellent and$26 with pasta side and nice house salad. I'm a sauce snob and I give their red 10/10. Wife's Marsala was also excellent but I have to agree with her, it had a little bite; I think just a little heavy handed on the black pepper. No liquor license as of yet but do offer a corking fee. Hope to have their license by early 2024. I will definitely return. Not a lot of fanfare but excellent food, very nice menu, affordable, clean and great service.

Nothing against this place on the atmosphere, it is what it is. It actually lends itself to being quite a nice surprise. I dined there with two other people and everyone enjoyed everything they had. It's a very small, casual looking place, but the menu is extensive and the dishes are executed well. Our server was very attentive.

Stingy and overpriced! We ordered extra sauce on both of our meals. Since we got take out the dinners we’re wrapped in plastic. When I opened my pasta dish, it was as if they had put less sauce on it, rather than the extra sauce I ordered. We called to complain. They offered to give us extra sauce, but that would have required 40 minutes of time. The pasta wasn’t edible, and I threw the whole meal in the trash. The lady on the phone only offered $3 back for the up charge on the sauce. When I told her that I couldn’t eat it because it was dry pasta, she went and talked to the owner (who wouldn’t come to the phone). He offered 50% off. There are much better Italian restaurants and they aren’t stingy!

I'm of Italian heritage and have a pretty good idea of good Italian food. Peppino's is authentic, service outstanding and prices good. My wife and I enjoy it there every time.

You just have to try it. The owner has been taught well and goes above and beyond to serve amazing authentic Italian dishes. Don't be afraid to ask for something that isn't on the menu! We were very pleased! You will be too.
