Absolute AWESOME food and friendly staff!! Portions are huge and very flavorful. The lobster bisque is to die for and clearly the BEST anywhere!! Plenty of lobster in the bisque and one bowl had a FULL LOBSTER CLAW!!! Never saw that before!! Well worth the 30 minutes drive from Rochester.

Brought my mother here for a dinner treat at the end of the school year (she works in a middle school). Given that she's always one to love a good steak - and she's definitely a fan of seafood - I figured this would be a nice option. We always love to try new places anyway! Overall, the experience was... eh. We arrived and were seated outside to enjoy the weather, but the hostess wasn't especially welcoming (I get it... it's a service-industry job and it's draining, but the restaurant wasn't busy and we showed up just before our reservation time). Our server came over and was nice enough, but he seemed like he was either new or not adequately trained as the entire ordering exchange was awkward. He kept asking questions about what we were ordering, though neither my mother nor myself are particular or make any special requests. It's almost like he wasn't entirely paying attention. We ordered a shrimp appetizer to split, both ordered the lobster bisque, while I then ordered the Connecticut-style lobster roll with fries, while my mother ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It took much longer than expected for our dinners to arrive... and our server wasn't especially attentive during that time. Unfortunately, the lobster bisque was overly salty. Once the main dishes finally arrived, my mother enjoyed her steak well enough, but I was halfway through my lobster roll before I realized there was a stray hair or two in the warm butter sauce on my plate. Uuuugh. Not happy. We ended up ordering desserts to go... especially because we had been there for quite a while by that time anyway. It was definitely time to go. TL;DR Slow service and waitstaff that either lacks complete training or proper attention. Definitely turned off when I found a hair in my food. Paid a decent amount of money for an experience that feels lackluster other than enjoying pleasant weather while dining outside. Don't intend to go back.

I have to say that my husband and I are easy to please when we go out, but we had the absolute worst service at this restaurant 2 weekends ago. Very poorly managed from the hostess, to the bartender to the manager. Called at 6:45pm and put our name on the list for a table for 2. Arrived a little after 7 and was told it would be a little bit longer. Sat at the bar for a while and asked a couple of times if table was ready. At 8:00 mu husband grabbed the manager(owner) and she finally got us a table outside. Ordered food a bit later. We were not offered bread or water, had to ask. Watched people get up and leave due to long wait for food. Close to 9:30 we asked waitress when our food was coming. Heard comments from her and manager that they were so busy. Food came after 9:30. We were too tired to eat much at that point. Food was good and it is a very cute place but they are not going to stay in business very long with management this poor. They were so unorganized. Bartender could not get out of his tracks and management should not be making comments about not being able to keep up. Staff according to the number of tables that you have. The whole experience was very disappointing.

The waiter offered free dessert since we had so many issues but we had already been there for three hours. Then to top it off the waiter messed up or checks and had to keep correcting them which took more time. We will probably never go back unless there is a big overhaul on there service and timing.

We were just here on Mother's Day. The place is gorgeous, but that's the best thing to be said for it. The service was absolutely terrible. It took at least 30 minutes for our server to take our orders. The appetizer didn't come until our entries were served--and it took a very, very long time for those to come to the table. Although the manager apologized, they didn't comp the too-late appetizers. The entrees were just meh. We will never go back.

While not my experience but this on the behalf of another guests. Party of 10 and 2 did not get their meals. Horrible customer service for not at least comping those two meals. The rest were already finished before those two were able to eat. Not an experience I plan on having because I would not have been as gracious. Won't be a returning customer. #othercustomersseehowyoutreatpeolle

Service is horrible! 10 people for 2 Birthday dinners and they forgot 2 meals, No apologies. No comp of meals. Oh they bought a drink for the 2 guys while they waited for their meals for 25 minutes. . So unprofessional. So foolish . Not going back. Use to love this place!
