I’ve been going here for years and always had a good experience. Carlo and Santo are the new owners. They are both a caring team and the food is fantastic. Positano is a great place to have a cozy family diner, date night or a party. Reasonable prices.

Positano is always a favorite; now, more so than ever. Under new management (Carlo and team), the restaurant shines with wonderful and hospitable service and fresh and delicious food. The chicken parm was outstanding and the linguini and clams (Manila) is terrific. Warm fresh bread and a Caesar salad started the meal…I love a well done Caesar and this one was perfect! No one can resist the gratis macerated strawberries with beignets. If you’ve never been, go. And, if you haven’t gone in awhile, go soon. In either case, you’ll be so happy you did!!
P.S. They play great Italian music too 🎶

We went for two slices of pizza and one soup and two glasses of wine. The bill was over $69 dollars. When we asked about it they said they overcharged us and gave us $10 back. Very shady and food was not very good.
I have been a regular customer here for a little over ten years now, and the food, service and atmosphere just keeps getting better and better and that truly is a testament to the owner Carlo, and the amazing staff!

Don’t mistake Positano’s for being just a neighborhood pizzeria. The food and service in the sit down restaurant in the back is incredible, and has only only gotten better since Carlo took control. Since I grew up eating authentic Italian food (and I learned to cook from them as well), I almost never enjoy eating Italian food out except for here. This is also our go-to for family party catering.

For 30 years, I've been coming to Positano's, and the reason is simple: their linguine pescatore. It's an incredible dish that has never once disappointed. The consistency, freshness, and flavor are what keep me coming back. It's the best around.

I've been comeming here since Tony opened the place, but when he retired and sold the business ( about 3 years ago) it slowly slipped down. As of two weeks ago there are new owners ( former employes of the original owner}. they're redoing the dining area and the food is back to original Positano. Excellent!

Food was moderately warm. Okay tasting at best. Tomato sauce is basically unseasoned crushed tomatos. Bolognese was basically ground beef with a touch of tomato. And the server would rather talk with his friends at other tables. Took forever for food. Soup arrived after other main courses for others at the table. Will not return. I suggest the same for yall

My wife was born and raised on Long Island and has incredibly strong opinions on pizza. This is her favorite pizza by far, anyone that opposes this review she simply responds with “no” and refuses to expand further.
