Quite possibly one of my new favorite restaurants! Got the most amazing salad and butternut soup, tastes yummy and clean. Very happy and can’t wait to go back. Prices reasonable too is a huge plus. Check it out!

All I have to say is that I'm grateful this spot is in my neighborhood. Great staff, with lots of variety and unique flavors. My go-to is their take on the bacon cheeseburger - for real, it's a problem...a good problem! lol

The best vegan spot on Long Island! The food is incredible. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff is super friendly and the prices are much less than one would expect to pay for gourmet vegan options. Super healthy and super affordable. Definitely less than you would expect to pay at a diner….and, did I mention everything on the extensive menu is AMAZING. The desserts are simply sublime as well.

Had the Italian hero grilled on the panini press and it was so good. The bread was so crispy and soft on the inside. All the flavors and textures were on point. The owner was so nice and welcoming. He had me try a sample of the BBQ jackfruit and their lobster roll/salad. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they both were. I’ve been vegan for 14 years and have pretty high standards. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be back whenever I’m in the area. Side note: after a rough time with a sick loved one and all day of not eating while at a nearby hospital, the kindness of the owner plus the deliciousness of the food, was good for my soul. Thank you!

Delicious and healthy food with an overly nice owner who makes sure you get exactly what you are looking for.

Being vegan it's hard to find good food out when you need it. I was feeling down today and went by Rock n Root to see what they had. Cute place with a few tables and refrigerated stuff to go. I order white bean and kale soup, Bacon Cheese Veggie burger and Mac n cheese pesto balls. I took it to go but decided to eat it immediately in my car. Pesto balls were a good start but... The soup! Oh, the soup was so good I had an emotional reaction. Hearty comfort food with a delicious base, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, beans and Kale. It had such a nice balance of seasoning and it lifted my mood. Next was the bacon cheeseburger which was highly recommended by the staff. It was so awesome and couldn't stop eating it. I haven't had a fantastic veggie burger with perfect toppings in years. Well done folks. Thank you for saving my day. I've been back several times since that day. I love this place.

I tried the cheese fries and the eggplant panini. Both were pretty good, nothing amazing. If you're looking for healthy whole foods takes on comfort classics this is your spot. Think baked "fries", baked breaded eggplant, baked falafel, bean burgers...

Nice couple are the owners and run the shop daily. Good conversation can be had if they're not crazy busy. Friendly. When I can make it in, they have some specials on rotations can check online what they are. Shouldn't disappoint at all if you want a pure vegan spot in the burbs of NYC. Small seating area, they're on a corner and space is limited, no bathroom. Minor inconveniences, food is freshly prepared and great. I don't have a favorite but all in you won't go wrong. Desert choices also vary but all delicious. Prices are as posted, not the most economical but by no means outrageous considering the operation overhead of this part of NY.

It's hard to find good vegan food that isn't purely junk food, especially in the Queens/Long Island area. Rock n Roots has such delicious, fun and fresh tasting food that is also healthy! The owners and staff are all so warm and welcoming. I can't wait to get to a point where I've tried everything on the menu 🤭. I'm so happy to have an awesome vegan spot to always count on with high quality and consistency. Big thanks to the owners and staff for all their hard work and dedication 😁

The food is well thought out, delicious and made pretty quickly. The food is phenomenal! I wish I lived here so I could come here all the time but I was just visiting with my grandmother. She really enjoyed the food too!
