We, as well as other people, went to the door of the diner and found it locked. It was 11 am. The sign near the door said it was going to be closed from August 13-17, 2025. Today is August 21st. It said it was open from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. We won't be returning.

Great little diner! The service was exceptional, the food was awesomely delicious. Real Vermont maple syrup on the table! The serving sizes were very generous. We all left full and satisfied. Our server was a great conversationalist, and was very pleasant. Will definitely be going there again if I'm in the area! It was not some chain run of the mill food. Fresh, cooked to order and delicious. No overpriced reheated food here! Just good honest food and atmosphere.

They only prioritize regulars/locals at this diner; my wife and I were the first people to enter this business for breakfast right as they opened and we were the last to be served our coffee after 5 other tables full of people who seemed to know the owner. It’s also dirty; there was hair and stains left all over the seats, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been washed in months. If you are from out of state, only go here as a last resort if nothing else is open which was unfortunately my situation as it was a holiday weekend.

Not clean, there was hair and stains from previous patrons all over the upholstered seats. Also my wife and I were the first ones in the diner for breakfast and were intentionally served our coffee last after many other tables. When we pointed that out after 20 minutes of no coffee the server said “yeah I know”. I definitely feel as though because we were out of state, gay, and had tattoos that we weren’t being paid attention to. Even when we asked for a second round of coffee we were completely forgotten about again until we were finished our food and asked a second time. We decided to pay with a debit card and were not informed of the $3 charge for doing so. Just totally ridiculous, slow, and awkward place if you’re not a regular that knows the owner.

The service and atmosphere were really terrific but the food was terrible. The homemade whole wheat bread tasted liquidy doughy, like it hadn't been cooked all the way through, and then moldy a few bites later. The home fries were dry and overdone and the Denver omelet had green peppers that weren't cooked thoroughly and worse, liquidy egg stuff that might have been melted cheese but also might have been uncooked eggs. However the owner/cook was very welcoming and friendly and his daughter - the waitress that day - was very lovely and attentive. I didn't complain to them about the food. I just ate it, I was so hungry. Maybe if you know what to order and what not to order this could be a good place to eat. The coffee was ok.

Classic, small town america feels. Cozy is a good word. Food is good and the service is friendly and welcoming. If by chance you end up nearby breakfast is where the gold is! 😀

An incredible diner! The interior is cozy and the menu still holds up from when I last ate here five years ago. Their weekend breakfast buffet (and also bottomless coffee) was incredibly generous and I enjoyed talking with the staff in between buffet plates. I'd probably eat here every week if I were a Willsboro native.

Outstanding food and service with a smile!

We hired the Willsboro Diner team to cater a reception for my family and friends... We estimated 70 and 100 came! They were incredibly prepared, friendly and everyone commented on how 'fancy' everything was. Thanks so much Drew and Ramelie... Highly recommend.

A village diner with decent food, very good service and an interesting "patina" to the place.
