Got the veal saltimbocca and a side of fettuccine with bolognese sauce. Best veal saltimbocca I've ever had (gotten it probably a dozen times at various establishments throughout my life). The bolognese was better than Tony's if you can believe that. The waitress was so nice and funny. The chef came out to check on us. Everything is homemade by him. All in all 10 out of 10; a true hidden gem for italian food in this area. We need to go back!

Just wow! I’ve been so disappointed dining out for so long and this place really set the bar for what dinning should be.Both owners work in house and checked on my table. My server Nate was personable, knowledgeable and very pleasant. 5 stars isn’t enough for this small family owned business and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

A Tavolo was a beautiful restaurant. It is small, but it's a very cozy feel. The staff was very friendly and pleasant and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend.Parking: The parking lot is not paved—be sure to wear appropriate shoes.

Food was ever good, meals were the right size ( not too much, I don't like having a serving which requires take home) good appetizers, good wine, will go back!

In the center of the city, New York's A Tavolo Italian Restaurant is a culinary gem that delivers an unparalleled flavor of Italy. You are welcomed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you enter, which creates the ideal environment for an unforgettable eating experience.A cozy and romantic ambiance is produced by the restaurant's lovely decor, which has rustic accents and soft lighting. The accommodating staff makes every guest feel welcome and adds to the overall quality of the dining experience by extending genuine hospitality. The cuisine is absolutely delicious and will transfer your taste buds to the streets of Italy. The menu of A Tavolo offers a wide variety of traditional Italian cuisine.

Took the advice from one of my customers and we gave it a try.. which led to a 1st time random Friday night stop, there was a good crowd which is a nice sign. Food was great, prices were reasonable, the place was nice, the people were very nice. I had the bay scallops st Jaque. A fancy house salad with bread and the triple chocolate brownie for dessert. All were really good. My gf had the fettuccine Alfredo with meatballs. Truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood. For the people on the other side of town.. it really would be worth the drive. Reservations are required.. Applause to the owner for such great restaurant.

A very nice Italian restaurant, with very good food. The restaurant was previously a house so it is on the smaller side. Reservations are highly recommended. A bit pricey.

I’m going to say 4 stars on food, and my server was great. The older woman, whom I guess is a career waitress was beyond rude and offensive.Quick summary: I walked in at 5pm to a completely empty restaurant and was seated on the patio on a beautiful evening. The career waitress suggested/implied I should move toa much smaller table that was basically shoved in a corner. I said no, because I was already seated and she said that all these tables were reserved. I asked her if she honestly thought that each and every table would be filled in the 45 minutes that I would be there for. She kept suggesting that I switch at which point I began telling her how rude she was actually being. So - if you don’t have to deal with her, your actual experience will be very good. The food was great. We usually eat in Endicott when we go for Italian. Some people just don’t know any better when it comes to working with the public. All good. It’s a post-Covid world. Side note: in this day & age be grateful for every patron you get.

Food is always good. A friendly atmosphere and it feels like eating at someone's home.Kid-friendliness: Nice kids' menu.Dietary restrictions: One of us had a nut allergy and they made sure there were no nuts in any of the dishes.

Plan your dinner carefully because their service hours are short. You're better off going at 6:30 if you want to have a relaxed meal. The food is terrific.
