What a lovely place! We had the falafel sandwich and it was the best one I have ever had!! The whole place feels like coming home to a big family, every person working there was super welcoming and lovely! I will definitely come back for more!!
We got a bunch of takeout food. We ordered over the phone and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Everything was delicious. However, the taste was somewhat different than other Middle Eastern food we have gotten, generally the same dishes. The hummus was delicious, but more liquidy Than others I’ve had. I think that the chickpeas were grounded or blended for much longer, and there was quite a bit of tahini in the hummus. Not to take anything away from it. It was great....
In Utica for first time and found this restaurant by chance. Had very good hummus and enjoyed our meal and meeting the owners. A real neighborhood restaurant and very popular with the locals.
