Stopped by on a Friday and had a great conversation with the owner (or as he states, owner’s husband- lol). Informed us about a special Christmas music show the next night with Roger Hoard - so we went back the next night and had an absolutely amazing night! Wine was great, especially the dry selections and wood fired pizza truck was great as well. A truly wonderful experience and will try to visit again!

We were told by another restaurant to try this place out and I tell you what...The wine is great ( I dont like wine much) but its was really good and the atmosphere even better, They had a Fire roasted pizza truck there and a band. A huge sweet dog that greets people and outside seating also.

Well for the price I was extremely surprised with the quality of wine. Worth every penny ! Something for everyone. I would go back to get more ! Thanks John for the tasting and backstory. I give the wine a 9 out of 10 !Tastes as good as a 92 to 94 rated bottle that I’ve seen sold for twice as much.

John was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable, and we had a great chat about the area, Illinois, North Dakota, and everything in between. The experience was just what we needed after a tough day, and I wish Black Sheep the very best...also looking to return again! Thanks for the experience!
Great family owned buisness. The husband had the funniest dry sense of humor. And he took great care of my group. I will tell everyone about this place. The wine was delicious and the view was perfect. Worth the drive out there, Thru the country roads.
