Extremely disappointed in the fact I did a road trip down to Woodsfield (from Youngstown) and made sure to get to The Farm Restaurant almost an hour before closing. Walked in at 5:17 and waited TEN MINUTES for a hostess or host to seat us. Finally a waitress, very nice, came up to us at 5:27 and said sorry the kitchen staff was shutting the kitchen down already (closes at 6 on Sundays). We then walked out disappointed.
Not happy with this situation. Especially with the distance we traveled to be told the kitchen is cleaning up over a half hour before it actually closes. No signs or postings of that anywhere either.
You guys could do sooo much better. You should want business, not turn it away. Good luck!

Weighing The Heart
My experience was not what I expected from reading previous reviews. The hostess was rude and impolite. The atmosphere is nice but also the location is in the middle of nowhere and unless you are local it is not worth the drive. The food was ok but nothing special and the server was also short and did little to accommodate us also. We will not return.

Me and my husband stumbled upon this beautiful place the other day and when we approached a nice lady asked if we had reservations and we said we didnt and she said its best to do so because they get pretty busy at this time with homecoming and we said darn ok...And then another lady came and said you know what we can get the two of you. They were the sweetest most beautiful people, very kind and personable... The food omg the steaks and everything were perfection.
Wonderful place to dine . I would highly recommend The Farm hands down best steak in the area and I have never heard of anything that wasn't GREAT beautiful atmosphere very very nice folks Great place for large dining groups or just a couple out for a nice evening

We drove 45. minutes to be told as soon as we walk through the door that they couldn't seat us even though they had room. We got there at 5:15. They closed at six and they said we should've made a reservation. Nowhere on any social media or promotion of this restaurant did it say you need a reservation. I suggest fixing that as there is no where else to eat around your establishment. Very disappointed.
