The coffee and latte were good, one of the better ones around in my opinion. The disappointing part was we ordered ahead online because we were in a hurry but placed the order at the wrong location. Upon showing up, the order was not ready because of my own mistake. But the reason for the one-star review was how the store/owner refused to work with us on the problem. The first problem was when I tried calling the other location, multiple times, and no one answer the phone so we couldn't cancel the order. Upon reaching out to the owner, asking if they could refund the order that was never picked up, we were told the orders are promptly prepared and we still could have drove the 18.1 miles to other location to pick up the order. That kind of defeats the purpose of why someone would order ahead, no? My wife and I drive through Alexandria at minimum 5 times a week on our way to Newark and I been to Coffee Vault multiple times before, but this left a bitter taste in our mouth. They can have the $16 from the duplicate order and the other coffee shops can have the future business.
Staff was extremely rude upon arrival.
Coffee was pretty average nothing special.
Chocolate chip cookie was phenomenal, I would come back for that had the staff been any nicer.
The coffee is not worth the attitude me and other customers were given

im seriously unsure who would have a desire to consume something like this. its just straight sugar and milk. no semblance of a proper latte or half decent espresso whatsoever. i started off ordering an iced latte with salted caramel syrup but when i got it, it literally just tasted like sugar and milk so i asked the girl can i get it different and she said it was a proper latte made with cold brew. what latte is made with cold brew...? then she asked if i want one made with hot shots and i said yes. i barely waited a minute for my new drink to be made. not nearly enough time to brew 3 fresh shots. i tried it, it wasnt even warm like how iced lattes will be warm if theyre brewed with fresh shots. whatever. i just left and drank a little on my way home then threw it out. never had such an issue getting a decent latte before. miss me with that diabetes.

My sister and I ordered 1/2 sweet iced lattes, mine with oat milk. They set them on the counter and I asked which one had oat milk and the employee stared at me, not saying anything. We ended up seeing a sticker that said oat milk on one and left. I tasted mine and I was fairly confident that it was not made with oat milk. I tried again, my sister tried it and I threw it away because we both thought it was made with real milk. My upset stomach 20 minutes later confirmed my suspicions.
My sister also ended up not finishing hers because it was incredibly sweet. I attached a photo to show the syrup that settled on the bottom of my sister’s drink. (I thought so as well but was much more concerned about the presence of dairy to think much about it.) I would normally return my coffee if I was not a fan but we originally had a very busy day planned and I do not mess with dairy. The employees also did not see approachable. As someone with a somewhat minor lactose allergy compared to many, I do not recommend.
Favorite coffee house! Friendly staff, delicious drinks, and the best sweet treats! Even their apparel is awesome and super comfy!
I was on my way out West and saw The Coffee Shop in Alexandria pop up for a good breakfast stop on Google. It was off the highway about 5-minutes, so it's not too bad. It's worth the slight detour. The breakfast sandwich I got was delicious, and the cold brew was excellent. The staff were all very welcoming and the facility was clean. If I ever find myself in the area, I'll need to stop by again!
So disappointing. We bought Ragamuffin gift cards last Christmas and new owners refuse to honor them. We won’t be back.
The atmosphere is adorable and the food is amazing. The coffee is so great. I can’t wait to come back!! :)

Salty cowboy is a must try
Love to stop here on our bike rides. Great coffee and great remodel!
Looks way different than the google pics? I came here expecting that decor but it was still cute just more modern. Fairly small but the workers were kind and the bagel delicious!
I have been to pretty much all the coffee shops around the greater western Licking and eastern Franklin County area (Coffee Vault, Hot Spot, Bouncin' Bean, Kolacheez, Depot Street, Village Coffee (Granville & Sunbury), Buckeye Lake, Millersport, Java 13, Centerbean, Morning Ritual, Leonard's, River Road, Buckeye Babes, and maybe others), and Ragamuffins is the BEST of the bunch in terms of drinks, atmosphere, and service. I got their email today they are selling the store. I am very sad but hopeful the new owners and store will be just as good.
This shop is lovely but only for abled people. If you have any kind of mobility issues you will not be able to enjoy this place. Absolutely no accessibility to those who use wheelchairs or walkers. What a shame. Seems discriminatory to me.
