Went there after going out with some friends Friday. I want to warn you guys to double check what they charge you. My bill was $46 the server was crappy so i left a $3 tip on card. So the total should’ve been $49. I look at my transactions after leaving, they charged me $52.37. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE

I’ve been to Waffle House plenty of times before, but this experience was one of the worst I’ve had at any restaurant. My girlfriend and I walked in, sat down at a booth, and after a solid 20 minutes, no one even bothered to take our order.
The place wasn’t even that busy—sure, there were a few people, but nothing to justify the complete lack of attention we got. In fact, over the course of those 20 minutes, I watched THREE sets of people walk in, sit down, and get served before us. Every time a server passed by our table, they’d avoid eye contact like we weren’t even there.
It got to the point where we were so frustrated, we just got up and walked out. It wasn’t even about the food anymore—it was about the sheer lack of basic service.
I get that restaurants can get busy, but when you ignore your customers for that long, especially when people who came after you are getting served, that’s a major issue.

Arrived at Waffle House and sat down at a table. Five minutes after we arrived 2 people walked in and were served food before us. 20 minutes passed by and 2 other groups of people walked in and were also served before us. No one acknowledged us. There were two girls that were only calling out orders and also ignored us. I’m not one to normally write reviews like a Karen but I have NEVER been treated like this ever in a restaurant before.

Went to dine in tonight and the food was really good and our waitress, Jennifer was amazing and very nice but there was this one employee there that was yelling and being obnoxious and cursing and normally I don’t say anything but me and my husband were out on our first date in 4 years because we never get out cause of our children and she just soured the experience . Everytime one of the other servers told her to quiet down and stop cursing in front of customers, she said she “didn’t care” .

We love this waffle house! We had sarah as our server at 10am and we love her. Shes amazing. She was very attentive, helpful, funny and truly took care of us. All of the cooks have a great attitude, they're singing and having a good time while working. Such a great atmosphere to enjoy while eating. I think a few need to try out for American idol! Best place ever.

When is set at the counter the whole counter was sturdy they were not busy there was no excuse not to have the tables cleaned before somebody else walked in the girl gave me an attitude when she placed my coffee and water down and I told her it needed to be cleaned off first and then when she cleaned it it wasn't even clean right she left debris on there so I just got up and walked out I love waffle House I used to go to the one up on beechmont avenue and when they built the one in Amelia closer to my home I was excited but will not be back to this one
Had a great experience! Cooks were brand new learning and still did amazing for the pressure they were under! Some people are old and miserable like the review before me! This is the waffle house you'll love to visit! Shoutout, Sherry, Ellie, Jennifer, Jeff and Ryan!

The service was great, no wait either! Food was awesome! There were rumors going around about Waffle House not staying open during normal business hours and that it was due to staff shortage. Today my husband and I stopped in and everything was perfect! The service, the food and our server Sarah was great! So glad to see a great restaurant in Amelia finally! We'll definitely be stopping in again! To the whole staff at Waffle House, keep up the great work! You guys are doing great!!!
