I love this shop; I usually come here to work on my computer while enjoying my coffee and sandwich. However, I often travel to different locations to provide my best reviews on food and service. Each time I've visited this location, I've noticed one person really hustling to ensure all customers are taken care of and leave happy. I believe she’s the manager; she has tan skin and dark hair. Each time I come in, she is the only one actively working, being very attentive and efficiently preparing drinks and food, while I see others distracted by their phones. I feel for the other customers who have to wait longer for their drinks or food because not everyone seems motivated to work. Overall, the food is good, though it could use more vegetables, and sometimes the coffee tastes more like milk than coffee.

this is such a beautiful establishment and it always has been. it got even more beautiful this december when they hired that amazing new barista. when i found out she was going to college i fell to my knees in anguish, shaved my head and covered my robes in ash. this is truly the worst day ever. i can only imagine this is similar to how Job felt in that book of the Bible “Job”. however, i know this establishment will rise from the ashes of this absence.

This place was great. I do wish they had a baby changing station in at last one of the restrooms. There was nowhere to change my baby that I could locate - otherwise an awesome atmosphere, service, coffee and food. Enjoyed it.

First time today being here at Sandstone Coffee House in Amherst. Very friendly service, very inviting, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Absolutely love the decor in this place. I tried the large Iced Vanilla lavender Latte so good, i love all things lavender. Definitely recommend this coffee house especially if you want to try something different and new. I will definitely be trying this place again in the future.

Sandstone is a great local coffee shop! They have tasty drinks with a small rotating seasonal menu in addition to classic offerings. The space is huge — no worries about finding a seat! Despite the size, the shop is still cozy. It is perfect to work or relax in, or to meet with friends. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm sorry to say since the new owners took over couple months ago it just isn't the same. I've been in about 5 times since the change, each time hoping it's going to get better. it's just not great, slow service, no decaf coffee last couple times & ask if they can make some you'd think I'm asking for $$thousand dollars. I loved this little spot, but unfortunately I probably won't go back. Sad really because I always try to support local. 😪

Very nice cafe with a large and comfortable hall. I really like that the tables and chairs in this cafe are not all the same. This gives the place a unique homeliness.There are also tables for children in the hall with small wooden, very cute chairs. Sofas and armchairs for adults are very comfortable.
Sandstone Coffee House has a lot of amazing little antique details that add coziness and uniqueness to this great place - an antique tic-tac-toe board, lamps, a piano. With excellent cappuccino they made us delicious fresh sandwiches. They have delicious coffee with a variety of seasonal flavors.

Every time I’ve been here I’ve had delicious coffee and food, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy (there’s one chair in particular that is like heaven!) Wonderful spot to meet up with friends or sit and read for a while. Highly recommend!
