A pleasant local restaurant that offered us a buffet lunch. An excellent selection of dishes from soup, chicken, beef, mashed potatoes ... salads of your choice, dessert ... all in all, 18 dollars for a buffer lunch is more than excellent. It is a little far from the main road (about 2/3 of a mile), but it is definitely worth coming and eating some local food and enjoying the company of the local population.

We drove an hour to go here. We have been here so many time and everything was great! This time the chicken was overcooked and dry. The beans were over cooked. They didn't have stuffing. The fish wasn't good. For 18.00 I expect the chicken not to be overcooked. Somebody isn't watching the timer on it. Our wait person Brenda was great! She apologized. When we left we told the front and they just said oh sorry. Didn't offer a discount on the meal or anything. Sorry to say we won't be going back, and we had been going here for years.

The lunch buffet was hot, so tasty, and homemade. The salad bar has a good variety; all items were fresh and ice cold, and attendants stocked everything well. The atmosphere was remarkable, a vintage fully restored barn with all the details of the in tact. Such a treasure! You won't be disappointed. A true Midwestern treasure. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
