The McDonald’s on Claremont Ave in Ashland, Ohio, is a rare gem that feels like stepping back 20 years in the best way possible. The team here is pretty responsive, good at keeping you updated if there's a wait. As soon as you walk in, they make an effort to recognize you—typically no backs turned, no passive aggressive nudge to order at the kiosk like a robot. They’re genuinely welcoming and personable. The drive-thru is fast, the dining room is above average clean, no horrow shows in the bathroom, and the sandwiches? Never smashed or sloppily thrown together when I've stopped in—just made right. Some people got home and realized a mistake was made and 1 starred this place. Ashland is so lucky to have this spot; you’d have to venture to some remote place like Mormon Idaho to stumble across a McDonald’s this special. Keep striving for greatness!

5:10 pm (dinner time) I pull in and order pull up 2 pay and see 2 cars already pulled over waiting for there food no one else in line and they tell me to pull around and park to wait also! There wasn't even anyone behind me and all I ordered was a mc chicken and 2 mc doubles !! That is ridiculous. If it's not the breakfast crew I'll drive out to 250

Once again, my drive thru order was wrong. How hard can it be to do biscuits and gravy with the gravy in a separate bowl? Instead of the gravy in a separate lidded container, they put the extra biscuit in it.
So, they correct it and forget the drink. I gave up.
Get home, no lid on the gravy.
Every time I go there it’s something. I’m done.

The shake and flurry machines are down - have and will be. The flavored coffee machine is broken, except for iced coffee. It's this way at all the McD's in the area. It is cold weather!
I ordered on my phone with the app. Got there to pick it up. They had no record of it. Waited 15 minutes for them to fill it. They were not taking orders at the counter because the computer wasn't working.
Seems as if the franchise owner need to invest in equipment, or the corporation is not backing up the local franchises

This food tastes like ass! I ask for extra onions on my burger and it was just disgusting there was no ketchup or mustard and worst of all it was a mess because the onions were everywhere do not ever come it’s a joke go to the one on 740 US 250 they have way better service and the food is hot!

Placed a mobile order, went inside, waited almost 30 minutes and received the wrong order, I’m sure many others did too because what I saw from the kitchen was absolute chaos and no organization whatsoever. I took my order back and they did give me my correct order, but they also took the incorrect order…probably gave it to someone else, which is a health violation. Employees don’t seem to care about anyone waiting either, no one asking if you need help, why you’re there…nothing. Corporate needs to look into this location and consider some changes. And yes, as previous review says…ice cream machine down again. Shocker!
