Excellent experience! The food was delicious, served exactly as ordered, no issues at all. This is my second or third time there and I will definitely be back again.
Freshly baked bread wafts through the air as you are seated - and that is just the beginning of gastronomical delight. The food is excellent, served in an intimate environment by attentive staff. It is a small restaurant with a pure Italian menu. The sauces were amazing, the chicken and the veal were perfectly prepared. As we ate, the restaurant filled with the hum of regulars. It was a Wednesday night to remember. Wish we could award more than five stars - we cannot wait to return.
We had a wonderful experience at Cafe Toscano, as we always do. We only occasionally treat ourselves to dinner out these days but when we do, we usually pick Cafe Toscano because we know we will get great service and delicious food. We did an early seating this time (4:45 reservation) and I preferred it. It is a very popular favorite for locals and they try to accommodate as many patrons as possible. It can be quite crowded at more typical dinner times, which isn't a bad thing -- I just preferred it a little less busy because there was less going on, less to see, less to look at, less to distract from the conversation at our table.
Have been here many times, but the last visit was not good at all. Changed the recipes and when I asked the staff did not seem to care at all. Very disappointed.
Service can be a little slow, so not the place to go if you're in a hurry. But, 100% recommend if you don't have somewhere to be at a certain time. The food is always delicious. We've never had a less than amazing meal here.
Love the garlic bread balls; the eggplant parmigiana and the service. Large portions.

We arrived at 8pm and the place was slammed: two groups ahead of us waiting for reserved tables to free up, one couple waiting very patiently trying to pay their check. When seated, our order was taken quickly, but then it took an hour for our plates to arrive. The wait staff was apologetic and we felt even more sorry for a table of eight celebrating a birthday who waited over an hour.
The food was pretty good, but ridiculously large portions. Each plate was enough for two meals and most tables were taking boxes home (perhaps this is standard in Ohio - we are just visiting).
We wouldn’t go back.

My only disappointment was when I made the reservation, I let it be known that we were celebrating a birthday. However, at the end of the night nothing was mentioned until I said something. Open table shouldn't ask if it's a special occasion
We have dined at the restaurant for many years and consistently have delicious meals. My wife ordered salmon with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. I ordered penne ariabiata with peppers and sausage. As always, both of our meals were terrific and there was enough left over for lunch the next day. Service was very good and prompt.
Always delicious with fabulous service. Make sure you make a reservation even if it is 4:00 !

Food quality was excellent. However, waited 15 minutes after being seated before waitress took our drink order.
Superior Italian cuisine. Extensive wine list. A good experience, despite torrential rain outside.
Father's Day dinner at Cafe Toscano, and it was--as always--great! Cafe Toscano is one of my family's favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious. The service is wonderful. The ambiance is warm and inviting. We had a wonderful dinner and a wonderful time.
The whole experience was fantastic. We come here several times a year. The staff is friendly and the food is outstanding.
Tables very close to each other. Noisy, needs sound reduction wall hangings
