I love Erawan and their Thai noodle dishes are bar none— best in Ohio. I’ve had a few dishes recently that just feels like maybe a bad spur or spot in the timing. Regular pad thai has had raw bean sprouts (crunch is nice but not even cooked or steamed into it) and A LOT of spring onion that is cursorily chopped (I understand pad thai isn’t supposed to have finely chopped ingredients but man… there was probably an entire green onion in my takeout container). Dined in on 8/3/2024, during the state tax free holiday. Still got charged for the sales tax. We did ask to remove the tax, got reply that they don't do it.
