Hakka Wok is the best in Cleveland area. I mean…I got my second favorite but Hakka Wok is literally the best. My food is always hot and fresh and made with quality ingredients. It doesn’t matter what I get. It’s so authentic and good I don’t care how much they charge to source their ingredients. I hope this family does great and I hope their kids do great as well. I literally never even consider another place for this kind of food in the area. I’ll drive way out of my way for Hakka Wok. There has been multiple nights I said to myself Hakka Wok saved my life. Their food is that good. God bless you guys. Thank you!!!!

Hakka Wok really impressed us with both the food and flavor. We ordered the Szechuan beef, Kung Pao chicken, and spring rolls. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of bold flavor. The Szechuan beef had just the right kick, and the Kung Pao chicken was loaded with tender meat and crunchy veggies. But the star of the meal? The spring rolls. My wife said they were the best she’s ever had—crispy, light, and perfectly seasoned. This place definitely knows how to do takeout right. We’ll be coming back for sure!

On Sunday, May 11, I placed a phone order for a large chicken fried rice, 2 spring rolls and a general tso’s chicken and fried donuts. My order should have totaled $27.90. When I arrived at the restaurant for pick-up, the owner’s young daughters were working the register and rang me up incorrectly (This was not the first time this has happened). I explained to the girls that I was overcharged, and they said that they didn’t give refunds but they could extend a credit. I then asked for the mother of the young girls and explained that I was overcharged. The owner came out of the kitchen screaming that they did not give refunds, only credits. The owner was very rude and argued that she would not give any refund. This is very disheartening, considering the fact that this was no fault of mine but instead due to the fact that her daughters overcharged me. This is very poor customer service, and it would have been very simple to either take the overpayment out of the drawer or refund it to my credit card. I was charged for potstickers, which I never ordered. The owner took the potstickers out of the bag and still only offered a store credit. This will be of no service to me as I have no intention of returning to a business where the owner argues with customers and does not attempt to make concessions for their mistakes.
My wife and I have ordered food from HAKKA several times recently they seem to have gotten a new chef and the food has been much much better. I bought lo mein and it was very tasty and good. We’ve also gotten Kung pow chicken, which was very good. We’ll definitely be returning, it is better than most the other Chinese restaurants around.

Ordered vegetable lo mein. Ok. Where were the veggies? 2 pieces of broccoli, 4 little pieces of carrots, 2 pea pods, That’s it? LOTS. of “noodles”. Someone needs to go to “ counting school “ if I wanted a “pasta “ dish I would have gone to D Angelo’s! If you like veggies, don’t go there. This was take out by the way.
