Absolutely amazing first experience here. They deserve every 5 star review they have. We went in an hour before close and had the freshest food. We ordered chicken & beef empanadas, the fried chicken dinner, & rice with beans. Everything was SO delicious. The family was sweet and welcoming. It really felt like we were at home. Such a wonderful experience.

Update: Since Anna’s open I have been there on multiple occasions to where I have tried almost everything on the menu. I go in place my order and sit and watch her cook all orders as they come in. All are made to order so unless you order ahead and don’t show up then that’s on you cause I’ve gotten my food drove home and it’s been so hot you can barely eat it.
I’m here to say any review that is a 1 star is not a legit review. Nothing in her kitchen has ever been premade. I’ve watched ever meal I order be prepared as I’ve waited.
I’m so glad Austintown has a wonderful home cooked restaurant right here. We love you Anna and as always we will be back.

OMG! We stopped here after a couple of hours at the casino! It is more of a takeout place but they do have tables where you can sit and enjoy your takeout meals. SO FREAKING DELICIOUS! We ordered the beef and chicken empanadas and the Spanish rice. We also ordered the Italian sausage sandwich and fries but had no need for them as we were full after devouring the empanadas! They were epic! The servers were very attentive and kind.

I visited this spot today all the way from hubbard to try there food because I seen them on google and there pictures looked amazing.. let me tell you the staff there... absolutely awesome.. great vibe the moment you walk in the door. Great guy who took my order.. and the food!!!! The food was awesome.. honestly. It tasted like a good old meal, a real homemade meal.. tasted like actual food cooked with care and love.. didnt have no chemical taste like some of these other restaurants.. definitely an authentic restaurant.. I will be coming back 100%

The food here is amazing it has such great flavor the pork chops was phenomenal and the Spanish rice was the best I ever had and the Italian sausage sandwich was thee best I had the bun is perfection and the food have so much flavor. Anna put so much love in her cooking. Everyone needs to try this place if I could I would give more stars

We stopped in on Wednesday while our car was being serviced at Jim Shorkey's on Mahoning Avenue. It's just a couple of blocks away and it looked intriguing. Clearly authentic and locally owned; not a chain. We tried the empanadas with some beans, and Anna gave us a large sample of the Spanish rice. I love beans but Anna's beans were different from any I've had before. Spicy but not hot seasoning, a few lumps of potatoes and giant green olives which added so much to the flavor. 10 stars for everything we had, plus everyone there was super nice. Thank you, Anna's, for a great experience.
