Lucy did everything that she could to make our day at the Irish American Club in the Madison/Abbey room. She is a phenomenal planner and helped us with every aspect of our wedding day. The food was phenomenal- we ordered the beef tips and the bruschetta chicken and both were great- all guests were happy with the entire meal. My one thing is that my matron of honor (who was busy with her 3 year old) was rushed through her main entree so that they could take her plate. I would highly recommend Ahern Catering and Lucy!

I had a tasting scheduled to find my wedding caterer a few months back. I scheduled a time for my fiancé and I to go to their kitchens to pick up a to-go box of food. When we got there there was 3 people working in the kitchen getting ready for an event they were catering that day and they were going to give us a portion of that food, which was totally fine! They seemed very scrambled in the kitchen, running back and forth and obviously strained. I thought in my head that I didn't want my wedding caterer to be this unorganized the day of my wedding. After waiting a while, one of the workers got us 2 to-go containers. She walked up to us with them and said "Oh, I just cut my finger while plating these up so the blood on the container is mine, but don't worry, I didn't get any in the food and I wiped most of it up." Needless to say it was extremely unhygienic and unprofessional that she was still serving us containers of food with her blood on it! We just said thank you and left with the food, in shock of what just happened! I'd never eat food from this caterer after experiencing that!

First off, Lucy was absolutely amazing to work with for our December 2022 wedding and was always quick with getting back to my thousands of emails. She was so helpful when doing our run throughs and was such a gem on our wedding day. She was helping with the food, the tablecloth set-up and I even spotted her helping out in the car area too. The Venue at the Pavilion was gorgeous and so spacious! As for the food, Aherns catered our wedding shower and our wedding. The guests raved about the food both times and the quality of the food is honestly superior. For the wedding shower we did the chicken Marsala and garlic mashed potatoes and then for our wedding we had the garlic mashed potatoes, the red pepper pasta, the thin sliced beef, glazed carrots and bourbon chicken at the wedding and seriously, it was all SO GOOD! We can’t wait to continue to use Aherns for all of our future party catering needs and will be sure to recommend them to everyone. (:
They have also catered 2 of my cousins weddings, plus my brothers wedding, and the food for all of those events were so good!

Had great time at the wedding! As an event planner and a DJ we were able to make sure that the schedule was on point. The owner/ event manager was very professional and helped me with any questions I had. She was swift and fast in organizing the Horderves, dinner, and party snacks. As the time came closer to special dances, her and her team were on point with setting up the dance floor for the special traditional dances. Bottom line is that as a professional it was easy to work with her and the guests were really satisfied with the food and the speed of work. I personally would like to say thank you and your team on behalf of me and the Vladikman1 Studio LLC, we really hope to be working with you again!
Love the venue, clean, great service and the food was great, there chicken and steak dinner were great better than some steak houses & restaurants near by. Would recommend.

Lucy thank you so much for helping me with my daughters baby shower last Saturday. The food was delivered on time. The person delivering the food was extremely helpful since we couldn't open the stereos. I have gotten so many complements on the food. Will talk to you about a Baptism party after the baby is born.
