Move from out of state and miss that perfect chinese place? The one with faded food pictures, small dinning area with a mismatch number of chairs, a make shift covid counter thats still up with a doorbell, or even walmart plastic dresser full of sauces? When looking for Chinese food, China King is where we always go. However, today I was really unhappy with my food. My chicken fried rice I like so much that I many times get extra to eat later, but today my chicken fried rice had a only a couple small pieces of carrots, no egg, which I thought it did and it was dry and flavorless. Usually very good but not today and I was so looking forward to it. Sorry China King but you totally missed the mark today.

I've been coming here for years now. Always very welcoming, remembers your name and family. That alone is worth it nowadays. And the food is always good. Never once have I had a problem with the quality or amount of food given. So if your looking for good Chinese food in avon lake. 100% come here.
I'm so happy to have found this restaurant because good Chinese restaurants seemed to have been on the decline for the past few years. We've ordered a variety of dishes and appetizers for our last few takeout orders and everything is fresh and you can see that it's made with care and that the cook takes pride in presentation. The fried food isn't greasy and it tastes like they use fresh oil. The dumplings and egg rolls are awesome and both the fried rice and steamed rice are made perfectly. I love that all of the pork dishes are made with strips of boneless BBQ pork (pork chops mein and moo shu are fantastic). Classics like egg foo young are also spot on. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

i ordered a sesame chicken combination plate and chicken lo mein.
best sesame chicken i’ve ever had. sauce was just sweet enough. chicken lo mei was perfectly cooked and seasoned. good veggie/chicken/noodle ratio. fried rice had plenty of veggies and was not at all bland. The egg roll wasn’t my favorite i’ve had and there wasn’t a lot of pork but it’s really up to personal preference.
