What a great place in Avon Lake kind of a word-of-mouth place. We had heard about the Smashburger and I saw a picture of it online and it delivered. It looked like a Smashburger should with a smashed patty with crusty caramelized ends on a fluffy bun with special sauce. A top 10 burger for me and we got the Shishido peppers because we will always get Shishido peppers at every restaurant just to try their presentation and this was a tasty dish. I was watching the food come out and everything that came out of the kitchen looked like it was a well crafted well-thought-out and plated generously. Including the bar or the restaurant might serve 40 to 45 people and and I think it’s a perfect size for this sort of menu. There are some high-end items and then some lower priced items we felt comfortable wearing jeans and not T-shirts and we look forward to trying some of their specials. I give High recommendation to the Smashburger and the Shishido’s along with some of the best service that we could get and my wife Wife was already talking about when we could return. Stopped in for lunch and had an amazing experience. We started with an espresso martini and a Paper Plane which were both perfectly crafted. The taco dip was absolutely delightful, and for mains we tried the scallop special and the rigate and cheese, which were outstanding. The menu is creative and unique, and everything felt thoughtfully done. A wonderful experience in a small but beautiful space. Highly recommend!

It’s our favorite spot. The menu is unique, but has something for everyone. The wine list is amazing, as are the cocktails. We find ourselves talking about the last meal we’ve had there on the weekly. The staff is just as wonderful. Truly. A home run of a place!

It is a cozy atmosphere and the service was excellent. There wasn’t really anything on the menu that I was in the mood for the night I went with friends, but I am not holding that against them. I have had the burger before and it is very good. We had some drinks and they were all solid. This is a great hidden gem of casual/fine dining.

Edacious is a unique restaurant. Their menu is somehow varied and limited at the same time, but I'm sure there's something for everyone. My table split the chips and dip (the chips could have been Lays kettle chips, but the dip was very tasty) and the bread service (fantastic foccacia and very tasty pepperoni rolls with a couple of dips). I ordered the strip steak which was cooked perfectly and came with potatoes that were beyond delicious! My friends ordered the hatch burgers and were equally delighted.
The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, our water glasses were constantly being refilled, and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's a small restaurant, so I'm sure reservations are a good idea on busy nights, but we got in on a Monday night with no wait at all. I absolutely recommend giving this restaurant a try!
