The deli lady I had today didn’t seem to understand the idea of half a pound of turkey sliced thick. She made two slices equal 1/2 lb. I told her I would like it less than half that thick. She insisted that I had to take the first two slices because they were already cut. This is not the first time I’ve encountered rudeness and ignorance at their deli. The cashier at checkout was an older lady and acted like everything was a big deal including greeting me and saying thank you-her tone was not friendly and she frowned the whole time! I’ve decided to go back to Meijer; they are so nice and helpful and seem to enjoy their work! Lots of smiles at Meijer!

Self checkout is horrible. Had a gift card that I want to use, thought I use it and threw it in the coupon bin, it said that it was deducted. Try to get help and gotten asked an ignorant question in why I did that so loud, people looked at her like she was insane

They have changed the goods. Apple pies from market district are frozen then thawed. Their crust is mushy. They no longer offer Aunt Martha buttercream icing which was the best. Their buttercream is awful. All their prices went up while quality is down. I have lost weight since they have changed. I'm sure these changes were made by corporate. So sad
Only go for convenience. The attitude of the check out people is atrocious. Such nasty attitudes. I’d fire them all. Never see them smile

Pretty bad when I feel like in intruding by checking out inline, the cashier can barely take the time to acknowledge me because she’s too consumed about her current conversation to say anything to me she had scanned half my order before she even said hello.... employees like her don’t make me feel bad that they will be phased out in the next 3 years by the self checkout option.
