Saw this winery on TikTok and the food grabbed my eye so we went for date night. The location is easy to get to and has ample parking. The staff was amazing and got drinks quickly. The wine flight and beer were wonderful. We decided to just grab finger foods. Although they were large portions they just weren't as amazing as I'd expected. The spinach artichoke dip seemed microwaved (but the cheese wasn't melted), the pickle chips were actually pickle spears and a bit overcooked (also came separately from our other food), but the meatballs were very delicious. I'd come again for the wine, but not sure I'd grab more than a cheese plate.

Came for brunch, left disappointed. Came as a group of 4, 2 food plates came out a good 20 minutes before the other 2. Steak was VERY overcooked and chewy. Biscuits & gravy was way too peppered. Scramble was cold. Very few tables and the service was not good. Will not be coming back & will not recommend.

We stopped by Laughing Bomb Brewery on a whim, curious to see what had taken over the former John Christ Winery location. The concept—part winery, part brewery—definitely intrigued us, and I’ll say right off the bat: the service staff was truly fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and clearly putting in the effort to make guests feel welcome.
That said, the overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The seasonal mixed drinks were creative and fun, and the fries were surprisingly solid. Unfortunately, the spicy chicken sandwich was underwhelming—bland, without much heat or flavor—and the buffalo chicken dip was just decent. With a pretty limited food menu, we found ourselves wishing for a few more standout options to round out the visit.
To be fair, we didn’t sample any of their craft beers, which could very well be the highlight of the place. But for a Friday happy hour at 5:30, the sparse crowd (just eight people, including us) made the atmosphere feel more quiet than energetic.
I genuinely want to root for a local spot like this, and I admire what they’re trying to build. But based on our experience, this feels like a one-and-done for us. I’m still giving it 3 stars , largely because the staff really did make the best impression of the night—and that counts for a lot

This long established Winery is fun to visit. They recently changed their menu and offer some food along with their wines. They also host special events throughout the year. We recently visited, they were our first stop on the way of the Bunny Hop hosted by OhioWines.org. We picked up our Easter Basket, had samples of their wines and was accompanied by small appetizers. This is a great place for a date night or just a fun night out. The atmosphere is inviting and in the summer, there is a patio and tables in back of the winery. Their prices are very reasonable and staff is excellent.

I have visited John Christ Winery several times and always have a great time! I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a casual, family friendly environment with great food and drinks! The staff and service is friendly and attentive and the drink selection is excellent. Most recently, I went for Sunday brunch and the food was amazing. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've had and the portions were generous. I look forward to coming back for trivia nights and in the Summer to enjoy the beautiful patio!

This place is amazing! The new owners (Laughing Bomb Brewery) of John Christ Winery have really transformed the place. We've been going there since the new owners took over and they are constantly improving! Most recently, we tried the Sunday Brunch. AWESOME! The chef and his team do an amazing job. I had the Chorizo Breakfast Skillet.....yummy! My wife had the Waffles and Berries. We both loved the food. The staff is great and they make wonderful drinks (we both had mimosa's). Would definitely recommend trying out their Brunch....as well as their other food. Never had a bad meal and the prices are worth it!
We visited the winery on the Christmas wreath wine trail this past December under the new owners. I bought a bottle of Laughing Bomb's Jadelynn which is very good. l had been wanting to go back and try the food since they added a menu and read reviews. Yesterday, a friend and I stopped in for lunch. I had the bomb burger with cheese and no bun with fries. I was very disappointed. It was overcooked (I ordered medium) and boring for what I had hoped (add a sauce or something - it needs it). My friend had the pretzel appetizer. I tried a new $8 coffee drink and she had a cocktail. Bill was $50 before the tip. Crazy

UPDATE!!! SEE BELOW!! My first visit here, it was fantastic!!! I ordered the ny strip steak, it was the juiciest & most flavorful steak I have ever eaten!!! cooked to perfection!!! there skillet Mac & cheese was also a tasteful yummy dish!!! this place is my new spot!!! and they even have music on Saturday nites!!!! As u see from 2 weeks ago, I had 5 star review everything was great however tonight 2 weeks later, I find out there changing the menu, they took off Mac & cheese, really? and my favorite strip steak is on limited menu going forward you have to check there website to see on future nites if they will have it. absolutely ridiculous!!! john christ with past owners this was the issue they had no food at all but now evidently these new owners are changing menu for the worse!! I had to settle for a paper thin pork ribeye that sucked, too salty not worth $18!!! you can see pork ribeye in second picture, what a disappointment compared to first picture...you lost my business!
