Food has always been good, but service horrible. One time there were 3 tables and 2 servers. The time she stopped it seemed like she was rushing off somewhere. Didn't stop while she was asking me as she was rushing by. Um what exactly do you need to rush off to? Second time no one checked on me after getting my meal. Waited 15 minutes at the counter as there is rarely anyone there. The only time someone showed up was to take a phone order. So frustrated I just left cash.

I can't say anything about dining in, but DO NOT order takeout from this place. I work nearby and have had coworkers out for the past two weeks. I don't really have time for lunch so I figure, "I'll order pickup and just pop over, 5 minutes tops." Both times the food was ready 30+ minutes after the scheduled time. Had to leave and come back both times. I figured the first time was a fluke, and today I learn that they DON'T have a proper infrastructure for online orders through their website. No sympathy, just "It'll be a little longer" I didn't even receive an apology. Ridiculous.

I ordered their fried chicken, and it wasn't good at all. Plus, the chicken thigh was pink. When I told the waitress about it, she told me it was probably okay to eat. No, pink chicken is not OK to eat. She then offered to cook another piece, and I said yes. They brought me a chicken pattie on a plate and slammed it down. She said nothing and walked away. The person I ate with actually had a worse experience. With this kind of food and service, I will never patronize this restaurant again when there are so many choices out there.

There was honestly nothing to like here. The service was not good. The food was not good. Not even the coffee was good. The orange juice, if that's what it was, tasted metallic. My wife said the same. I got sausage gravy and biscuits. Heavy on the gravy, and very light on the sausage. Some small pellets of sausage were here and there. I suppose the price was okay, but not really - for what we got. We won't be back.

I regret leaving a bad review, but this place is disorganized. Although the food is good, the poor customer service from start to finish was disappointing.

It's Thanksgiving.
Since it's just my Mom & I (usually) we go here quite a bit...to include last Thanksgiving.

Have never had an issue and usually know what we want before we even walk through the door. For me, the Maria Waffle or a Skillet. YUM!!

Today, my daughter and grandkids came with us.
Looking over the menu, no breakfast. Asked if the menu has changed.
Angie, our waitress got an attitude right away and told us they were the lunch menus. She came back with different menus, handed them to us (over my mother's head) and snipped that anything on it was a $1 more since it was after 11.
(Mind you, NO WHERE does it say that, online, on the menus, posted signs....no.)

Her attitude though! My daughter and I looked at each other like "did that just happen?"

Then we heard her complaining about us wanting breakfast to the kitchen staff. WTH??

Monica came over and was extremely nice and she made sure we didnt have to pay for our drinks, so gave her a tip. (We asked for the check, fully intending on paying)

We are now at Cracker Barrel waiting on a table.

I decided to try the "award winning" chili. The presentation was rather nice, but it tasted like hot dog sauce from a can. You generally use crackers to thicken up chili - you don't need that with this thick over salted concrete paste.

My recommendation to my readers and followers you would get better chili from a mre meal and if you really want to try the award winning chili purchase a cup instead of a bowl.

Potentially the worst meal I have ever had. We arrived at 10AM for breakfast on 10/6/2024. We typically like diners as well! We were seated right away by a very nice host. Except we never got silverware. (Not a big deal)

After about 15 minutes the host came over and asked us what we'd like to drink. We didn't meet our server until about 25 minutes after sitting down. I had drank all my coffee at that point. Was not offered a refill. We were asked by the server (I can't provide a name because she never introduced herself) what we wanted. We both ordered a combo of pancakes and eggs and breakfast meat.

We waited another 25 minutes for our food. In that time we had no refill on drink, we didn't have any silverware either. Finally when our food came it was terrible. The pancakes were dry and crusty. The over east eggs were over hard. And the scrambled eggs were cold. The sausages were clearly freezerburned.

At that point we waited another 5-10 minutes for our server to realize we didn't have silverware even when we told her. The meal ended up being $40. The only positive thing i can say is the host was very kind. Would not reccomend this resturant with all the awesome diners there are in the area. Maybe their lunch/dinner service is better.

I called in a carry out order. The woman on the phone was rude and nearly hung up on me. Then when I got to the restaurant, my order was not even placed. Really? Then the same woman from the phone yelled at me again about any mix up was not her fault. The food isn't good enough for this kind of service
