This isn’t about the food. I love the food at McDonald’s. This is mainly about the service of this McDonald’s out in Avon Lake as a DoorDash delivery driver. I had a pickup in the McDonald’s today and the line, obviously not surprised, is busy as hell going almost all the way around the building. However, that particular McDonald’s is going through serious renovations inside the building, to the point where they have the need to close the lobby and dining rooms and the only way to access getting food is the drive through and mobile/curbside pickup. Now normally this wouldn’t be an issue for me if it was my food, however when I went to attempt to pick up this food for a delivery, the main door is locked. So I couldn’t get into the building to pick it up. The line of the drive thru was nearly wrapped around the building so no chance of getting in line. I then pulled into an empty spot by the curbside pickup to see if I can call them to have them bring the order to me so I can confirm it, but no one answered. I tried calling 3 times with no answer. I understand that it is busy, but if it’s a DoorDash delivery driver trying to do their job and pick up an order they should at least answer the phone. I had no choice but to unassign the order, so not only that they’re getting a bad review from me today, they’ll also most likely get one from the poor customer I had to cancel the pickup from. That McDonalds needs to be closed down if they are under complete construction of the entire inside of the restaurant. It’s inexcusable to have it open if no one is gonna freaking do their jobs in a horrible work environment.

I came inside with my family of 3. We ordered in the restaurant. We honestly waited for almost 20 min for a $14 order. While we were waiting, we witnessed the manager yelling at staff and urguing with customers. Another family came in and we ended up talking with them about how poorly this location is run. The long waits and messed up orders. Also, with a play land in here it is not the cleanest location. STAY AWAY from this location! Change is needed for us to come back!

To be fair, it's like this everywhere. I'm fed up. Fast food is no longer fast. It costs more money for less. And I feel like no matter where I go, they F up the order.When I go to inform them the order is not correct, I get the looks and attitude like its somethin "I" did. I saw this sandwich go back in the window and they fixed my order.And to hear the manager bitching about serving walk in customers because "Taco bell don't got to why we go to" just makes it even harder to give a F about supporting this garbage anymore.

I really don't know where to start. The place is so disgusting i don't understand why people eat there and why this McDonald's is still open. They have young kids that don't know anything and half the time they walking around high. The floors are always so dirty ? the serving line is always dirty when customers are getting there food. The trash can that clearly you could see from the drive tru is over fill and trash on the floor. Pop and water on the floor all the time. And the people taking your order always have and attitude ? is hard to believe avon have this nasty place open and i can't believe people still eat there. Sad

I did a mobile order and once I got to McDonalds I waited for over40 minutes for curbside pickup. After 20 minutes of waiting I was told that my order was going to be right out 20 minutes later I got it. Another customer that was waiting for curbside pick up went to go in the lobby but the doors were locked so he walked up to the drive thru window an they told him it would be right out. Once I got home the chicken nuggets were cold and you couldn't even bite I to them, the fries were cold and disgusting, the sandwiches were cold and the buns were hard. This was my first time ordering from this McDonald's and honestly I wouldn't have even given them a star. Never again will I go to this one.
