I used to enjoy the Roman burger so I went in Mr. Hero for one of my favorite sandwiches. It was horrible and I paid for it dearly by getting an upset stomach. What happened to the quality???? I also got a hot buttered steak for a friend - that was inedible. In addition when you buy a regular sandwiches you get a bacon cheeseburger for $1. It looked terrible I just through it away. I want my money back and reimbursement for the Tums.Parking: Front

Order took forever they called me back because something was wrong with the order 4 other orders went through and I'm still waiting for my order . Now my lunch is over and I get the food and it's wrong, called and the lady acted like she didn't remember the order ?. Maybe it was a new crew or something else just wasn't good for me.

Choose this location after being totally grossed out by the Middleburg location (reviewed that if you want to read). Service was terrible. The folks in front of us asked what the size difference was between small/medium/large sandwiches. The employee was totally confused and eventually had to find a manager to help. Manager was just as confused by the simple question. Heard the folks ahead of us complaining about their order being wrong. Our order was also wrong. Our sandwiches were made in correct and we were given wrong/smaller size cups than what we ordered. Folks in front of us ordered small, we ordered large and we were all given same awfully small cups. Lids didn't seem to be made for our cups, nobody in in our group or the other folks could get the lids on to the cups. Dinning room tables seemed clean enough but we sat by the window. The sill was caked in a layer of dust, dead bugs, crumbs, straw wrappers etc. This had not been cleaned in years. They treat straws, lids, napkins, condiments etc like some kind of precious commodity, hid behind the counter and only available if you ask. The folks that were there before us spilled soda on themselves and the floor when refilling cups. They must have waited a few minutes or more for someone to come around to the front counter before they could ask for napkins to clean up. They told employees about soda on floor, but no one came out in the remaining 15-20 minutes that we were there to mop or wipe anything clean. I live out of state so I won't be back anytime soon, but I will certainly remember this is a location to avoid when I do make it back.

Ordered mozzarella sticks and fried pickles and watched the girl take them out of the fryer after 1 minute. Went I took a bite they were both raw. I understand trying to be fast but that doesn’t matter if the food isn’t cooked properly seems like a food safety violation. Won’t be eating from this location again for as expensive as it cost I was disappointed to say the least.

Literally the last three times I’ve ordered and picked up food from this Mr. Hero’s (Avon Lake) they have gotten my order wrong. I think the owner deliberately does this to over charge then conveniently “forgets” to put the order together correctly!

The food is amazing, this is the only place that you are going to find this taste it's delicious, be careful though if you order a large meal it will be 20 dollars but you'll get 2 burgers the size of a double Q lbs with cheese at mcdonalds, a full basket of fries and a delicious cup of cheese, more than enough cheese trust me for the fries and a large drink, more than enough food for the price for sure. The customer service was also decent, they seem like good people.
