My husband and I got the birrias and we loved them! The beef consume (broth) was so delicious! It was the first time we’ve ever had birrias. We highly recommend that you give them a try. The waiter checked on us a few times and was very friendly. We will definitely go back.

We were served raw, still frozen chicken wings, that we discovered after EATING the chicken and the waitress didn’t even seem to sincerely care. The manager never came over to apologize or ask any questions. It was a very odd experience and I am writing this to anyone who will be going there to just be careful and inspect your food before you bite into it.

Best Mexican restaurant in Avon Lake, Ohio.I wish the had some live music or background music. Anyway, the food was fresh and plentiful. Great portion size for the price. The staff was fantastic and owner is hands on. The chips and salsa are free, that’s a bonus! The steak fajitas were sizzling, we love the sound lol. The cerreo’s dessert was delicious. Food was fresh and fast, the margarita was huge! This is our go to Mexican restaurant!

I've taken plenty of clients here over time. Things have changed with new ownership and we're not fans. We got to go orders after not great service anyways. ($70 worth) of food was ordered ... they forgot everything for the fajitas besides the meat. We didn't realize until we got home and they weren't willing to make it right because "it was just the rice and beans salad and guac missing" so we won't be going back.

Under new ownership - the food is great; however, the margarita drinks are either watered down or the alcohol content is far less then the previous owners offered to it's patrons. Hopefully the owner and/or management will see this message and increase the alcohol content to what it should be. It just doesn't taste as good as in the past. No change - we'll probably start going to the Mexican Restaurant on Chester Road near Colorado Avenue called "Fiesta Habaneros Mexican Grilled and Margaritas."

Very clean establishment, comfortable booths, and flavorful food. Drinks are made perfectly. Plenty of free parking too. The staff is friendly and helpful. We could find no wrong here.

Rico's is definitely a hidden gem. A friend suggested it for lunch and I had no idea it existed. The patio has a cute secluded area to eat. We went for a late lunch so it wasn't crowded and the weather was gorgeous. Staff was friendly and food was super prompt. I got the house lime margarita on the rocks and the cowboy burrito. To my surprise there were hot dogs sliced on the burrito. I was skeptical because I didn't remember that in the description, but tried it anyway. Hands down one of the best burritos I've had in a long time! So much flavor and the combination of various meats, rice, beans, pico, and queso were delicious. I can't wait to go back and try some other menu items!
