Taki's is great, but it is pretty difficult as a celiac! I did not even make it through dinner..... That said, our server was wonderful, and did her best. My gyro-connoisseur husband liked, but did not love the gyro. The pita bread looked amazing, and I was told it was. I had the kitchen salad with grilled chicken, which was juicy and flavorful. Taki's is very popular and busy, and the staff is great, especially the bartenders. Give it a try!!!

Taki's Greek Kitchen is a hidden gem in Avon Lake, Ohio. It is a small, family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Greek cuisine. The menu features a wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. I had the lamb shank, which was slow-cooked and falling off the bone. It was served with a side of roasted vegetables and rice. I ordered take out and waited at the bar for my order. I over heard fun conversation between the bartender and what seemed several regular patrons. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. My order came in an acceptable wait time and was packaged perfectly for transport. Overall, I highly recommend Taki's Greek Kitchen. It is a great place to enjoy a delicious and authentic Greek meal.

Was there tonight and our server Angel, is an angel. I felt we were good friends when we left. I am Greek and the food is to die for. Try the app, grilled octopus, so tender and full of flavor. Ambiance feels like you are somewhere in Greece. Thank you

1/6/23 Arrived after seeing this place on yelp. Didn't have a reservation but they were very accommodating in seating us in a reasonable time. I had the lamb shank dinner and it was delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere there was wonderful. Will definitely go back.
