Thyme Catering and Special Events

Thyme was initially introduced to us by our wedding venue, Gordon Green as they are a preferred catering vendor. While exploring our options for caterers, we were intrigued by the hors d’oeuvres and entrees. Our wedding planner offered her expertise and shared with us about her past pleasant experiences working alongside Thyme. We quickly decided to hire Thyme and were so satisfied with our choice. The staff at Thyme were very professional and we greatly enjoyed working with Alexia. She coordinated with our wedding planner to help us select our wedding cocktail hour and reception preferences. We were impressed with the food tasting portions and quality. Thyme was extremely receptive to our feedback and even accommodated our request for some Indian dishes (e.g., pani puri, samosas, tandoori chicken, and marsala chai). We really appreciated how they helped to include cultural cuisine into our wedding day! We highly recommend Thyme and Alexia!!

Thyme Catering is a total class act, with delicious food, caring and hard-working staff, the best customer service and management of every single unique and customized detail! We decided to get married in a small-ish, nontraditional celebration with just three months to plan everything. We were so lucky that Thyme was available--their communication and professionalism from the very first communication was impeccable and impressive and exceeded all our expectations--and they worked with us and all our unique requests and questions all the way until the end of the event. They provided a special full tasting for us a few weeks before the event, took care of all our tableware rentals, then they cooked the food on site despite the fact that our venue didn't really have a kitchen, cleared dishes seamlessly the whole time and just were fantastic all-around (and the nicest people). They took care of everything and we didn't worry one bit. We have heard so many compliments on the delicious food and caring catering staff from our guests, family and even the venue owners were very impressed. We would hire them again in a second and I certainly hope we have a reason to have another wonderful party with their delicious food! Thank you, Luke, and all the wonderful people at Thyme for making our wedding celebration perfect in every way! 5+ Stars all the way!

Our event manager Alexia was highly professional and communicative. We had an easy time developing a menu with her, and our subsequent tasting was excellent. Thyme was very flexible and happy to accommodate all of our requests and feedback.

On the day of our wedding, Thyme staff was professional, courteous, punctual, attentive, and created a great environment for our guests. The food was fabulous, many people at the party went back for second helpings, and Thyme even helped us set up desserts we had purchased elsewhere.

We used thyme catering for our wedding. They created a custom ‘action station’ menu for us based on our favorite foods that was delicious and reasonably priced! All we’ve heard from our guests is how incredible the food was! It truly was the best catering food I’ve ever had and the 30+ texts and messages we’ve gotten as follow up from our guests confirms they thought so too!

Alexia and the team at Thyme are INCREDIBLE. we were fortunate enough to work with alexia and co. while planning our wedding and not only were we impressed with the food options and how delish everything was, but alexia literally made the process SO easy and stress-free for us!we hosted a 225 person wedding in october and our only worry was feeding all our guests good food in a timely manner. alexia provided constant reassurance and allowed us to focus on other small details while having confidence that our guests would be full and happy. every single person we have talked to have commented on the food and how it was the best food and easiest dinner process at a wedding or large event they have ever experienced! so incredibly thankful for the team who worked our wedding and also just thyme in general for having the greatest group of people!in addition to that, my husband and i wanted to incorporate some of our favorite foods and other restaurants from cleveland to give our guests a lil “taste of cle” and tid bits from our love story. alexia seamlessly coordinated donuts, cookies, ice cream, bagel sandwiches, stadium mustard and some very last minute dietary restrictions into the best night ever! from servers passing out appetizers to delivering mitchel’s on the dance floor, you did it all.we are forever thankful for you guys and making one of the best nights of our lives also one of the yummiest!if you are contemplating using thyme for your event, don’t debate any longer. just go with them, you can’t and won’t be disappointed! oh and get the mashed potatoes, they are to die for!!!

The prices!!!!! I didn't use them but their catering menu for a small girls night started at over $100/per person with some high min plate number. Kudos to them for getting that kind of money per plate but they are not for smaller events with budgets under 3-5k

Luke, James and the entire team truly went above and beyond for our wedding yesterday. We weren’t the biggest budget or fanciest menu, yet you could tell they all love what they do and cared about our special day. Absolutely amazing to work with and would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone!

We had the Thyme of our lives at our wedding thanks to Thyme Catering and the Thyme Traveler! We were initially a little skeptical of having a food truck at the wedding, but Thyme proved how amazing it can be. The food was incredible and the portion sizes were super hearty. Logistically, it went off without a hitch (except for that one part where we got married) — they were able to serve people in groups and keep the line moving, so all 120 guests were served within an hourish (but we also had appetizers to hold them over). Later in the night, Thyme busted out the smores bar which was a total hit for a summer night.We heard nothing but good things about the food, which is pretty rare for a wedding. Their team is an absolute pleasure to work with and completely transparent. I mostly-jokingly mentioned that it would be awesome to have Mountain Dew Baja Blast as a drink option, but it's hard to come by in bulk and Taco Bell wouldn't sponsor our wedding, so it wouldn't be doable. Well, the Thyme team presented me with a tall cup of ice cold Baja Blast just as the night was kicking off, and I will always remember that amazing gesture!We want to thank the Thyme team for their making our grand feast seamless and enjoyable by all!

I don’t even know where to begin. Working with Thyme for our wedding was AMAZING. Alexia was informative, prompt to respond to questions, and willing to give suggestions. Our food tasting was so fun and Catering Chef James was able to ensure that we satisfied both our vegan and vegetarian guests. All of the food is AMAZING and we received nothing but compliments from guests. I truly felt like Thyme cared about our wedding day. Staff went above and beyond to “flip” our ceremony space into a reception space. We had family make cupcakes which were keeping cool in a vehicle- Thyme offered to go to the vehicle, get the cupcakes, and set up our entire dessert table for us. Staff also set up AND CLEANED UP our late night snack. By the end of the night they were even assisting with cleaning up our decorations. We truly couldn’t have been more satisfied.
