Delicious food at a very reasonable price. My husband had the 3 piece Walleye dinner with 2 sides - he said it was incredible and we bought 2 extra pieces for tomorrow. I had the liver and onions, green beans and cottage cheese - it, too, was very good. I am on a keto diet so I ate half and saved the other half for tomorrow. I did not, however, have the gravy put on it. The service was excellent. We will definitely be going back.

I enjoyed my lunch here. The service was great! The prices are ridiculously good, as a result of that you don’t get massive portions. Which is refreshing to be able to get quality food to fill you up and not get 8,000 calories to boot. This a great stop anywhere, but especially surprising for a small town. Perfect small town diner. When a place does liver and onions well, everything else is great, and the liver and onions here is great! Good service and beyond reasonable prices.
Small restaurant, food is not as good as it used to be or before Covid. But servings are a nice size. Food comes out hot, and salad is nice for a side salad. I had the walleye fish, and there was plenty, but it was a little dry.

Excellent, small town family restaurant with friendly staff and delicious home cooking. It's a return stop for us. My husband and I couldn't decide between ordering the perch or walleye, so we had both by ordering the seafood platters. Butterfly shrimp, clams and hush puppies were included along with 2 sides. Quite a bargain with each dinner priced at $15 as we likely would have spent substantially more in a bigger town for these meals. Most meals are priced at $10 or under. Good variety of homemade sides. Green beans were not just straight from a can but well seasoned with bits of onion and bacon simmered in. Large variety of cheesecakes and pies to choose from, but more of a to go item as the meal itself will fill you up.
We were so glad to find this place. We've been looking for a restaurant in the area around Bainbridge for several years and finally looking on Google we found Paxton's and we enjoyed it. We both had breakfast this morning and we will be back.

Since it's a 45 minute trip, I called around 11 on Saturday to see what and when the daily special was. I was told Steak at 4:00 After driving 45 minutes and arriving @ 3:30 they were closed......
