The worst Thai food I've ever had. I ordered a couple of basics and I lost my appetite and couldn't finish either one. The Thai fried rice with chicken was beyond bland and room temperature (cold). It was flavorless and there was nothing fresh about it. How is it possible to make bad fried rice? The Crispy Chicken Larb Salad was also cold, and the crispy chicken was tough and over-fried. There were 4 of us, and only 1 person was satisfied with their meal. We got there around 7:30 on a Saturday, but you could tell the staff couldn't wait to go home. Our waitress left before we were half-way through our meal (at about 8:30PM). I wanted to address the food, but our waitress was gone and the only staff that came to the table was kitchen staff. We were never asked if we were enjoying our meal, even though we were 1 of only 3 tables with customers. I'm never going back. It was a waste of money ($43 with tip for my 2 plates and a $3 Coke). I still tipped because it was not the server's fault that the food was so bad.

I absolutely LOVE Thai Story! From the moment you step in you’re greeted with happiness ! (Unfortunately I don’t know the man’s name) He is very attentive & so kind. The first time my youngest son(6) told him he wanted to work with him, just because he interacted so well & was kind to him. It truly was very precious. The food is AMAZING, every time I go it is delicious, fresh & with great proportions. There’s so much flavor & you will leave with a full belly. From the atmosphere, kindness & The Food you won’t be disappointed! I live an hour away and I continue to travel to Thai Story for the Best Food! Thank you Thai Story!!!

Outstanding food and experience. The quality of the dishes is consistently excellent and you can tell a lot of care goes into making every plate. The owner is often the one waiting on customers which makes the experience feel very personal. He’s always happy to share tips, explain the dishes, and even likes to help finish or adjust the meal once it’s served so you get the most Thai experience out of it!
My wife and my favorite thai resturant in the area. Owners are great and usually recogize us and even remembers what I usually get. (Pad See Ew thai spicy). would highly recommend giving them a try!
I have never written a review before but I feel like I should say something… I have been here before and enjoyed myself because the service is awesome and the restaurant itself is very cute, however, after eating the chicken wing appetizer and the veggie drunken noodle I have had food poisoning symptoms ever since. I had to leave work early because my stomach pains were so bad and I was uncontrollably nauseous. Still having stomach issues three days later, yikes. Most likely will not return because of this :(

Really extraordinary. Simple menu, but that is exactly what I would want and expect from an actual, legitimate, truly authentic and informal Thai restaurant. The guy who opened the place is from Bangkok and spent the last 15-20 years in the Bay Area. I visited today (I grew up in Chagrin) from Denver and was thrilled to find this place. It occupies the old Empress Court that had been here for decades. I spend time in Thailand. The Thai Basil (Pad Kra Pao) with ground chicken I had today was as on-point to actual Thai cuisine as I have had in the US in a long time. Highly recommend!
