First off service was friendly. Everything else not good. Our food was absolutely horrible. We love trying local spots and have many we love, but unfortunately this is not one.

Had take out tonight and loved our meal. Smoked pork bowl was great. The bbq sauce was just the right touch without taking away from the pork. And the rice was some of the best restaurant rice I’ve ever had. We will be back. Oh yeah, sat at bar and waited for food and it as nice.

Better visit before they leave! Finally made it over to Baltimore as we had heard great things. Met the owner, great service and a menu that I hope to try again. I had the Kahuna Burger. It was huge! Fell apart some but so tasty. My wife had a chicken dish with slaw and mac, which had their own sweetness. So tasty. I guess they ate moving to a mobile food truck as their location does them no favors. Good luck and get there before the end of October!

I ordered the Paniolo cowboy steak platter for take-out. the photos online make it look AMAZING. What i received was almost pathetic compared to the photo. honestly tastes like steak with an overabundance of salt on it. Most of the complaints from the other people of the $90 order placed was that it just tasted like salt. Photos for reference of what i was expecting vs what i actually got. By the time i had even gotten it as it was a pickup order and opened it, they were closed.

Seriously trying to figure out how this place has this many stars. Wife has been wanting to go there for her birthday for 8 months. Her birthday arrive and we go. Arrive at 4:45pm on the Saturday the 31st. Waitress with a black eye, comes over and gives us two menus. Not hello, no nothing. We look at the menu and meanwhile I heard the table behind us place an order. The male orders the pulled pork. The female I couldn’t hear. Both of us love bbq, so I am set. I’m going pulled pork. The waitress takes the order to the kitchen, does some other things then comes and asks us for our order, mind you we have no beverages even at this point. My wife thinking she wants our drink order, state Mt Dew. The Waitress responds I got to get my notepad. She goes and I can see her struggling to find the notepad, but she locates it and returns. My wife states Mr Dew, and my wife gets a reply no I need your food order. Well guess we are ordering food. Generally I’m patient but not to unprofessional individuals who are paid o do something. My wife orders the pulled pork. The waitress replies what do you want to drink, and I state water and she goes no her. My wife replies Mt Dew. She then asks me for my order, and I state the pulled pork. She asks my drink order, and I reply water. She then walks away. I check the OSU/Akron score. Look at a couple other things while my wife I have a conversation. Next thing I know the waitress I standing between her our table and the other table and states sorry we have no pork, we only have chicken. She asks if we want a menu and I reply yes. I look at the menu, and am not a big chicken fan, and realize it’s pretty much pork or chicken. My wife states I’m sorry, do want to go somewhere else? Mind you it’s her birthday. I toss the menu to the side and we leave. I’ve seen on here were the owner has accused people of leaving fake reviews and I gave them the benefit of doubt that they were getting spammed. Sorry I’m not a fake review, and yes I was in your restaurant at 4:45pm on the 31st. You had one waitress with a black right eye, and a person in the kitchen with a red hat on. Face reality you may want to change professions.

Super nice! They were closed due to being understaffed and due to many catering orders, but they still let my husband and I make a carry out order. I appreciate their kindness and willingness to serve us, even though they are super busy and understaffed.
I went back to try it again, carry out. The same platter was $4 more than last time but the flavor wasn’t any better. What’s up with the bouncer- looking fellow staring at the customers? Weird vibes.

However, seeing you attack your customer’s characters online in defense deterred me from spending any more money with you. The shrimp was too tough to feed to my dogs because I was afraid they would choke. The shrimp were large, and I liked the breading, but they were tougher than well done steak. I think the rice’s flavor was left on back the islands, but there was plenty. Pineapple slaw is good. The eggs, or what I’m guessing are eggs, in the Mac salad tasted like rubber. The peas are the only flavorful ingredient in the dish.

I’d also like to point out that the portion sizes were insane for how affordable everything was. My only issue were the sticky floors but I don’t know many places with sticky floors that don’t make great food, it was almost a green flag that we all knew we were about to chow.
