Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Yesterday evening I waited 15 minuets to just take my order. I waited another 20 min for my order of one medium cone and two pup cups. After watching several drive thru customers come and go after I ordered and 8 other people who came in after me get their orders a girl came around the corner and asked if I was waiting for something. She had no idea what my order was and just kept saying she was sorry and asked again what I ordered, not what my order number was (99). At this point I was fed up with the poor service, being ignored by the entire staff and still no order so I left, even though I had already paid for my order. This is why I most likely will not come back and encourage those I know to do the same. Another note - why are drive thru order filled so much faster than people who walk in?

I stop by for a snack and Moolatte on my drives to Newark, which is every month or two. This is the friendliest Dairy Queen I have ever been to! Everyone is so nice, welcoming, and happy to serve you. I can’t say I’ve ordered much from the menu, I usually get the same thing, but it’s always good and fresh, and served up with a smile! Management is doing a wonderful job here!

This is one of the nicest dairy Queens I've ever been to. And I've been to a few. The employees here are exceptionally friendly and all had smiles on their faces. We were greeted with kindness and conversation was with ease. What a great experience. The manager there, ( I believe her name is Heather ) seems to go above and beyond for her customers and the employees seem to really enjoy her presence. Exactly how it should be. Great experience!

Parking: There's plenty of parking. Sometimes there are car shows here and yet theres still plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: It's dairy Queen. Obviously it's kid-friendly. Everyone there is extremely friendly.

Inside counter service; our cashier "A'" filled three drive thru orders prior to filling our ice cream order that was already placed. Inside cashier "B" takes and fills and ice cream order that was taken 5 minutes after mine. I inquire to cashier "B" why my order was not filled prior to the customer she handled. Cashier "B" explains that "each cashier fills their own orders." If that's the case, why is employee "A" filling drive thru orders? If drive thru has priority, then employee "B" should also have filled drive thru orders prior to completing the counter service order she had taken. I stood there and watched one inside order and 3 drive thru orders filled that all were taken after my ice cream order of a cone and a sundae. Why did they prioritize sime customers over other customers. There is a screen right there above all of the employee. Why not serve/fill the oldest order first? Maybe they wish to discriminate against certain groups/individuals based on age.

The absolute best cooked food I have ever eaten at a Dairy Queen. Wish it was closer to my house. Not all DQ locations are made The same and this is this by far the best.

Glorious ? dipped cone! Place was clean & cool!
