You can tell the owners are Great people, we live close but this was our first time eating there since it has changed hands. I enjoyed the food and the conversation with a retired Navy gentleman named Jerry. Support local mom and pops so they can stick around, owning a small business is challenging, I know we are small businesses owners too. I can only imagine how difficult owning a restaurant can be. Good luck and see you soon!
I first tried their food at the Fairfield county Fair and was blown away. I stopped by their actual location to get some take away a few days later and was blown away again. Even though the fries had cooked a bit by the time I got home, they were still amazing. The flavor still held up well. Their fish and chips are amazing, good seasoning and breading, and their tartar sauce has a good sweet flavor with a bit of a kick that blends well into it. All around the food was phenomenal.
Papito's is our go to place to eat. Kim is always warm and welcoming. The service is top notch and the food is fabulous. If you don't want your fish fried, ask for it blackened. They are happy to accommodate.
