If you want a pre-civil rights era meal this is the place. The employees keep the attitudes of that 50’s spunk! The food is also reminiscent of something I’d find that’s about 75 years old; as in the food tastes like it was made in 1955 and partially preserved and reheated to be consumed in modern day. I had trouble (even as a white person) getting respectable service. If you’re over 60 and want to “relieve the old days” this is exactly the spot for you! And if you live an “alternative lifestyle” you’d best find better places for your “unusual preferences” and if you’re from out of town don’t bother! They’ll just tell you to “go back where you came from”. So overall, if you want that classic small town warm feeling this should be your pick!

One negative I have is when a customer orders something and it’s not done and when you say something to the employee they just the eyes they should make it right who wants to eat cold food

Took my wife and son here for the first time today. We were all really looking forward to it as we hoped it could be our go to ice cream place but unfortunately it failed to hit that mark. I will say the building itself is very nice and modern feeling no complaints there but the young lady taking our order acted very annoyed to even be taking our order and had bad mannerisms to go along with it. I honestly wasn’t that bothered by her being like that though at first because I just figured she was like most teenagers now days very disconnected from reality. The ice cream is where I took real issues my son and I both ordered milk shakes and it was super milky tasted like it had no ice cream in it I could literally hear the milk splashing in my cup when I would shake it to the point I just threw it away and we left. It’s possible that we just got a couple bad shakes I’m not writing the place off completely but I will say first impressions do last forever and I will not be going out of my way any time soon to try again.

Service was fast. Peanut butter shake was good, had shredded chicken and curly fries. The chicken was dry and the French fries Tasted like they were fried with fish.

I have never had a bad experience here. Ever. The food is always amazing and the shakes here 🥵🤌 absolute perfection. The best. I dont like getting ice cream or shakes anywhere else. Ive been coming here since i was a kid. My siblings too and my parents have been going since they were real young. Highly highly recommend
