Great seasonal options; their pumpkin spice cookie/pastry was amazing. There is also a lot of space with free wifi and outdoor seating along the water. Great hang out spot to work alone or with a group. You can bring your dog for outside seating but no dogs inside (except service dogs of course) so if you're alone might make it tricky to order without going inside. Highly recommend!

Good place. Good live music. Good food. Unfortunately, it was a fixed menu on my visit due to live entertainment. Can't wait to go back and order off full menu. Also know the breakfast/coffee shop are in the corner building next door. All the same property.

It has a ton of potential but they're doing it all wrong. It's very clear that nobody here has serious service industry experience or knows how to run a restaurant. For one the hours are crazy - for a coffee shop or a restaurant. They open after people get to work and close super early most nights if you want to have dinner. The new building has a really solid vibe. The bartenders and service are sub par. I still come here a decent amount because I've tempered my expectations. I know what I'm gonna get when I walk in and I'm not uptight so I mostly laugh about it. There is no chance anyone here has ever worked at a succesful restaurant. Food is average. I'd rather have it than not have it in downtown Batavia because there is nothing else here.

First time here and I was truly surprised. I had no idea how many food choices there are. I had the cream cheese bagel with pistachios and hot(spicy) honey to go along with my decaf coffee. We will definitely be back.

Met some friends at the Bean and Brew on Saturday night (Nov 2025 around 6:30p) Unfortunately the experience started out slow. The place was fairly empty. 3 or 4 people appeared to be working. No one greeted us, had to ask if we could sit anywhere. Had to get our own menus, had to get our own utensils, finally a very nice young lady came over. First batch of Cheese curds were burnt, received new one, those weren’t bad. Ordered food, 1 1/2 hour later we had to ask about our food. Only thing hot was the fries. Never got to eat the burger, egg was cold, cheese did not even melt on the burger. Our whole experience was really really bad. They gave us a 10% discount but it was still $40 plus. Definitely will not be going back or recommending this restaurant to anyone. Definitely avoid this restaurant for dinner.

Aaliyah was such a beautiful soul. I really enjoyed talking to her while I stopped to check out the coffee bar. Please keep her as your barista! Theres very few and fae between people I've met who likes to work and talk with their customers.

The food here is usually very good, but it seems like they’ve been understaffed lately. The owners really need to step things up. We typically come on Sundays, but when we came today (10/12/25), the place was completely closed—even though all hours online say they’re open until 6:00 PM. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.
