Came here to eat dinner with the family, we had Ava! She was super friendly, very attentive with me and the children. Definitely recommend her service. Also clarified my kids order with us adults! She was wonderful!

Food is usually fine but i have genuinely never met employees so miserable with their jobs. They make me feel uncomfortable to order everytime im there and never have a pleasant attitude. Drive thru or dine in either way. When i’m inside i never see my waiter. I work in fast food so i understand bad days but if everyday is a bad day maybe it’s time for a career switch

513 Fence was in the neighborhood building a wood fence, so we stopped in gold star chili to get a quick lunch. As always, quick service and good food for a good price.

I drove over an hour out of my way to try this location, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment I walked in. The restaurant was empty, and the employees were sitting at the counter. As soon as I walked in, one of them (still sitting down) asked, “Can I help you?” I said I was going to use the restroom, and she immediately responded, “We don’t have public restrooms,” without even knowing if I was a paying customer.
I explained that I was planning to order food, and only then did she say, “Okay, go ahead.” At that point, I decided not to stay. I just turned around and left — and I’m now happily driving 30 minutes to the next closest Gold Star Chili.
It’s unfortunate because I actually planned to feature this location on my TikTok platform, but that kind of attitude turned me away. A simple “Are you dining with us today?” would have gone a long way instead of assuming. Not a great first impression, and I won’t be returning.
Buns were super soggy. Kinda gross if you allow yourself to focus on it at all. Friendly staff though.

Service was very slow n we ordered the 3 cheese conys meal with another coney n fries so 4 all together n we only received 3 so then we went back in nicely told them n they wanted a receipt n they didn't give us a receipt n we were on our lunch break we wasn't trying to get a extra coney n they refused saying that we ordered the 2 n an extra n we did not but it was a hot dog !! They was rude n what happened to customer always right? You can keep your hot dog!! We will not be back to this store !! You lost 2 customers!! Over one single coney !!
