Average dining experience, but happy hour prices were good. I would revisit, but this restaurant is now closed. They have a place in Troy, but that is a long drive from Beavercreek.

Their menu covers most tastes (including vegetarian); delicious food; extensive drink choices; excellent, friendly, efficient service. It's a great choice for a dinner out. My wife and I have been there many times, on our own and with friends -- always a wonderful experience.

My boyfriend surprised me for Valentine’s Day and took us here. I had wanted to try it for awhile and am so glad we finally did! The atmosphere was nice and calm. Our server was friendly and pretty attentive. I had the Chicken Bacon Pasta and he got the salad with the salmon. The portion sizes were excellent and I had plenty leftover to take home. Both were delicious and nothing was overpowering. We had bruschetta for an appetizer and the NY Cheesecake with raspberry sauce for dessert. Both very good as well. For an occasional nice evening out the prices are reasonable and I highly recommend.

Four people, four different dinners. I had the salmon. It arrived cold. Not just lukewarm. Not tepid. Not even body temperature. Cold. Like the winter wind was wafting thru the kitchen while it sat on the shelf waiting to be delivered. Cold. My wife's chicken whatever (I think it's called "The Islander,") yep, that was cold too. Only one plate was above room temperature, according to our dinner companions. . . . And $5 for a single roll of bread, maybe 5" diameter with butter? C'mon. I have to pay a fin for that?Nope. Not going back. Even Doordash delivery from the place eight miles away arrives hotter than what we got at Basil's.

We had an amazing experience, 10/10, not a single complaint. We will return again!

Service was excellent. We had M and she did a great job and was very attentive.Good cocktails and beer selection.Environment was great - not too loud.Fries were excellent.Linguine was good, shrimp tasted fresh.TJs burger was a little different, but still good - would suggest using strips of bacon rather then bacon crumbles. I plan to try the other burger next time.Prices reasonable.Dessert (chocolate cake) was good - wish they had some dessert with ice cream, though.Kid friendly.I am honestly not sure why this isn't more popular.Vegetarian options: Plenty of dishes (linguine) that don't come with meat unless you add itParking: Shares mall parking

Just ok. Servers were overwhelmed! They had a large party (22 guests) in the back and warned us service would be slow. Weird thing is the normal lunch seating was about 10% full. I'd hate to see what service would look like if they were 50% full. Food was unimpressive. We saw at least 15 people walk out while waiting to be seated. We also saw one guy that wanted to apply for a job but was told they weren't hiring! There was nothing about him that would indicate he shouldn't be considered. I own a business and was shocked. Our waitress was hustling and we were not in a hurry but I wondered if the owner knew how much business was being lost. Unfortunate.

Went to dinner here for the first time on 10/15/22 before Thomas Rhett concert. Got there at 5:00. At first server named Morgan was fine. She took our order and then we never saw her again. She never checked on us after we got our food that was just ok tasting but nothing great. We had to stop another waiter to go get her to bring us more water and boxes for our food. She did that and brought our bill. She never asked if we wanted dessert and never came back to cash us out. There were not that many people there especially when we first got there. I went up to the host stand and asked for the manager because we couldn’t find our server. The host went to find them and came back and said it would be 15 minutes. This is ridiculous that a manager of the restaurant is not available and out front on a Saturday night. Will never go back.

Food was good. Well prepared. Waiter was on top of things.

There's nothing wrong with Basil's, but there's nothing spectacular about it either. They don't have any signature item on their menu that is unique. There's nothing they do way better than anyone else. It has a ton of space, which is great if you have a large group but we weren't super impressed. We'll come back if somebody wants to try it, but it's not a place we'll become regulars either.

Great bar! Highly recommend the strawberry lemon drop. Service is top notch. A definite must in Beavercreek!

Went for an early dinner and tried the truffle fries, very good!! The shrimp Cajun pasta was pretty good and so was the lobster shrimp cavatappi. Nothing spectacular but would probably go back another time.
