Calamari appetizer was excellent, as was the lobster bisque. Our entrees, grilled walleye & breaded mahi-mahi, were also quite good, and substantial portions. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

We had a party of 5 and mixed reviews... Overall, Nicole provided fantastic service, as did Roger at the bar for pre-dinner cocktails. They were both personable and professional. Lobster bisque is always solid, and the sauteed shrimp appetizer is my go-to as a meal - I think that I could eat pretty much anything if slathered in that sauce! :-) My husband had the fish and and chips, and both were overcooked and not very well seasoned. He didn't say anything during the meal as he didn't want to disrupt our conversation or the evening. We also had desserts as we were celebrating 2 birthdays - the bourbon caramel sauce was the star of the butter croissant cake, and the carrot cake was also very good.
We were seated and sat for almost 15 minutes with zero service. The two of us watched a party of six come in after us and were already being taken care of. We left. We were really looking forward to eating there for our first time. For the record, they were not very busy. About half the tables were full.

Our waitress was not very attentive. My water glass needed refilled numerous times and she didn't take away dirty dishes when we were done with different courses. We got an appetizer that took forever to arrive and we think she simply forgot about us. The last time we had eaten there, we had excellent service and that makes a huge difference in the dining experience.

Slow service. Went for a Sunday brunch, there were just about 5 other tables filled so no reason for the slow service. Food was average. Not bad not great. Not what I was hoping for at a place with these prices.

We were traveling in Ohio for my birthday and found this restaurant online, made reservations via open table. We got Mahi Mahi and Surf & Turf, and chocolate cake for dessert. The food was amazing. I wasn’t expecting to find such good seafood, so I was very surprised. We will definitely go back when we are in Ohio.

We had a great dinner. My husband had the cla chowder, tasty and creamy. I had the salad with the house vinaigrette, light and lemony. Main courses were the scallops and the sea bass. Both were excellent. For dessert we had the bread pudding, it was really good.
It seems like most restaurants these days start off great then something changes and the food quality goes downhill. The calamari has been better this time more clumped together versus crispy separate pieces. The bread was not very warm. My twin lobster tails were cold. I can understand if it was part of the chilled tower but it was the main entree. I've had them before with no issue. My husband had the walleye which he said was good but sever with cold mashed potatoes. My friend's tuna streak was more rare than the medium she requested. The service seemed to take awhile as well. Disappointing that one of our favorite restaurants has changed for the worse. May give them one more shot or it'll be another place we add to our list of no longer enjoyable.

I've dined at Vlub Oceano for years now and they have progressively declined in service and food quality. Food is often cold or room temp at best when served and often seems reheated or previously prepared.
