My family & I have ordered Ele cakes/cupcakes for years. This was my first time ordering a birthday cake from this particular location. I was unsatisfied with the cakes taste. The appearance was nice but the cake wasn’t moist. It had an old dry taste to it.

They’re good, but I prefer the Cakery. I got a birthday cake from ele not too long ago & had to redo the lettering on my own. I think charging for a cupcake container so you don’t have to throw it in a paper bag is a bit odd too..

You can walk in and choose from a variety of sizes & flavors (chocolate, marble, yellow & white) and the staff will write your custom message in your chosen color. The customer service is outstanding! I went to pick up my cake and some bows I had dropped off previously to go with the cake were not on from the place where the production was. Elizabeth was super nice and so helpful. She made up for not having the bows on the cake and not receiving them back. My cake turned out so beautiful still and I will definitely come back and order or try more cakes from them!

I’ve gotten multiple cakes from Ele cake co and have been dissatisfied with the service twice now. I did a quick run for a birthday cake and during that time I noticed one of the displayed cakes having hair around the front of it. It is understandable these things can happen I brought it to the lady’s attention just so she would be aware in case anyone else were to notice and she seemed careless of it and took it as a complaint with no action taken rather than someone kindly giving them a heads up.

Elé Cake made the most wonderful German Chocolate cake for my husband's birthday. I have ordered from Elé many times, and this was the best ever. Even guests, who never take photos of food, snapped photos of this one!
Always trust your instincts, I should've stuck with LOVE cakes by DLM! 80th birthday cake looked like a toddler did the icing/decorating. Colors all wrong. Extremely disappointed! If I could give zero stars i would.

Sold me stale cookies and when I reached out to get a new order insteadof a refund iwas told the store would do anything about it. I asked if the cookies were fresh and was told they were baked over the weekend. Why sell 2 or 3 day old cookies even through a 3rd party and not replace them for the customer.

We missed our one year anniversary cake because my husband was deployed and then they wouldn't honor it if it was more than a year later. Mediocre customer service. Also the icing color on our cake was dripping down the sides at our wedding so it didn't look great.

Very much enjoyed this mornings visit to this fine establishment of sweet treats and more. The atmosphere is almost euphoric with the sense of smell and artistic displays of treat creativity. Service is exceptional with friendliness and knowledge of their bakery delights. Pricing would be the only negative reaction for most people visiting here, but with the state of the economy currently it's no surprise anywhere you go these days to get sticker shocked or frown upon costs for goods. The awesome customer service and impressive appetizing flavors give this establishment a favorable 2 out of 3 for success in our Gem City of Dayton.
