I just wnet for my birthday and it was wonderful. The live piano player made my birthday dinner. The staff where lovely and super friendly. We did have a very long wait for our food, but that was due to short staffing in the kitchen and they where hiring to fix that. So this issue was temporary.

To me, this place is a hidden gem located at the Greene, Dayton. The atmosphere, the food, and the service is just the best. Food and drink prices are reasonable! I’ve been there three times in the past 2 months. Every time has been delightful!

Marcus is one of the best server I have I had. I think better then Jay's Seafood. I will be back. The flatbread was great.

Parking: Parked right across the street.

Great service at this hidden gem. Marcus is a fabulous host! I ordered one of his dessert recommendations, the peanut butter landslide. It was even served warm. Love the music, too, from the Bob DePiero trio! ?

Parking: Nearby parking in a paved lot.

Sat in a U shaped booth in the bar area on a Wednesday evening with three others. Good happy hour choices in both drink and food. They do offer a gluten free pizza option which was tasty. To our surprise a sax, guitar and drum band entertained us with excellent music. Have plans to return.

Nice restaurant!!!! Great Customer Service!!!! Very friendly staff!!!! The food was delicious!!!! The menu has great options available for everyone! The Spinach and Artichoke Dip was good!!! I wanted to try the Risotto, but it has bacon in it☹️. They have other tasty options available, like Asparagus, Spinach, Wild rice, Garlic mashed potatoes, and Salad!!! The Bourbon Glazed Salmon was yummy!!!! The fish sandwich was too!!! Perfect timing....there was no wait! They have plenty of seating and parking available! This is a great place to relax, spend time with family, and enjoy a great meal!!!!Our server Jessica was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional!!! They also have nice pieces of art available to purchase!

My experience at Jaquas was truly exceptional. The food was delicious and high quality. Our server, Marcus, was friendly and made great food recommendations. We loved the love music and will definitely come back to try their Sunday brunch.

If there was a -10 star, then that's what I would have picked. Every year 10 friends get together for a holiday gift exchange. We made reservations a month ahead of time. We get there and there is already 5 other tables full and we are told there is only 1 waitress in the whole place. We all sit there for a good 20 minutes and one of us finally went and got menus for everyone. By now it's 6:30. Finally the waitress gets to our table and we all decided to place our order because who knows when she'll be back. I ordered the garlic salmon as well as 2 other people. And we wait... After a good 20 minutes someone( I think the owner) comes over to tell us there is no more salmon. What? I should have already been eating. So we changed our order and tried to have a pleasant time. Finally getting our order over an hour after originally ordering. The fish I got was dry and I had to ask for some garlic butter. The restaurant never offered to give us any discount for our horrible time. I would never recommend this place or go back. Food was poor for the price and we obviously didn't have a great experience for our holiday party. I came from an hour away and was super disappointed ☹️

The server Jess was outstanding. Excellent spinach-artichoke appetizer. I chose the prime rib for the main coarse. Perfectly seasoned, medium rare with homemade horseradish. The horseradish could have had a bit more kick. The portions were good and the total meal was excellent.I will be back and highly recommend.Coodles to Chef Sal.

First off, consider this place if you'd like to impress someone. Wife and I stopped in for a glass of wine and a couple of appetizers. The staff was very friendly, and the appetizers were perfect both in taste and presentation. We are looking forward to having dinner there soon.

Cute atmosphere, I was really excited to eat here. Came here for 7:45pm dinner reservation. Placed order around 8:15pm. At 8:50 we were informed the kitchen staff refused to cook anymore orders and that we would not be getting the food we ordered. We had comedy show to be at, so unfortunately were unable to get dinner before the show.

Excellent food!! Service the first time was superb. The second visit the hostess was a bit rude( older lady … Mothers Day morning). But the server was great! The brisket is best brisket Ohio has to offer…. No brisket in this area even compares to it.. The chicago hot dog was great!! Will be going back for sure… just hope a nicer hostess is there!

Went on 4/30/22 with a College graduation party of 20 (had reservations) and had the worst time I have ever had at any restaurant in my life. We sat for 3 hours until we started getting cold. And even then, the food was cold or incorrect. Tony was our server and he has to be the worst server in Ohio. Tony lied about any and everything you would ask him. Tony brought out 1 basket of bread for the whole table. He claimed the restaurant was out of baskets, but the host said that was not true and brought the table more bread in baskets. Michelle, which was great. She tended to our table more than Tony did. We had to ask for bread plates to eat the bread, because people in the party would place their bread on the table. Tony was annoyed he had to bring bread plates. 2 ladies at the table asked for hot water with lemon, Tony said he had to brew the hot water. It took Tony 1 hour to brew the hot water. After Tony did not tend to our table, I asked what was the problem. He said he wanted to get his other table finished with their food and checks before he came to take care of us..... After 3 hours of nonsense, we decided to leave, we said we wanted the check, Tony said we had to wait to talk to the Owner since they did not have a manager. When the owner finally came to the table after over 20 minutes of waiting, she never once apologized. She said that they are short staffed on the floor and in the kitchen. I am sick and tired of these businesses blaming everything on Covid and not having enough staff. People are tired of making pennies while the company is making huge profits and the customer has to foot the bill. If that owner treated the staff anything like she treated us, I would not want to work for her either.

Food was good. Kitchen was extremely slow. 2.5 hours from arrival to food being delivered to our table. Fortunately we were with good friends and had great conversation while waiting .....our waitress was doing her best, she did comp us a bottle of wine for our wait.Dine in: Yes

We went with a group of 11 people and had to wait a while for our food but despite that the experience was phenomenal. Our waiter Eric was polite, funny, and apologetic. Our waiter and the hostess were a joy to be around and made the wait well worth it. The food was very good and I enjoyed the blackened swordfish and Chicken. Would come back.
