I just wnet for my birthday and it was wonderful. The live piano player made my birthday dinner. The staff where lovely and super friendly. We did have a very long wait for our food, but that was due to short staffing in the kitchen and they where hiring to fix that. So this issue was temporary.

When I got there there were only 2 tables occupied. I had to ask someone if I seat myself or wait to be seated after standing there for about 7 min. Salmon was slightly undercooked for my liking, lacked seasoning. I got the butter garlic salmon sautéed spinach and steamed broccoli. Both the sides were seasoned well.

To me, this place is a hidden gem located at the Greene, Dayton. The atmosphere, the food, and the service is just the best. Food and drink prices are reasonable! I’ve been there three times in the past 2 months. Every time has been delightful!

Marcus is one of the best server I have I had. I think better then Jay's Seafood. I will be back. The flatbread was great.Parking: Parked right across the street.

To begin with the service was not great. Only three waiters on staff for Valentine's Day. The food was not great either definitely not worth over 100$ for two people. After the fact both myself and my date had stomach pain, hers so bad it brought tears to her eyes. She had the chicken risotto which tasted alright but something was wrong with it. The ribeye was ok the fingerling potatoes had no flavor.

Great service at this hidden gem. Marcus is a fabulous host! I ordered one of his dessert recommendations, the peanut butter landslide. It was even served warm. Love the music, too, from the Bob DePiero trio! ?Parking: Nearby parking in a paved lot.

Sat in a U shaped booth in the bar area on a Wednesday evening with three others. Good happy hour choices in both drink and food. They do offer a gluten free pizza option which was tasty. To our surprise a sax, guitar and drum band entertained us with excellent music. Have plans to return.

Nice restaurant!!!! Great Customer Service!!!! Very friendly staff!!!! The food was delicious!!!! The menu has great options available for everyone! The Spinach and Artichoke Dip was good!!! I wanted to try the Risotto, but it has bacon in it☹️. They have other tasty options available, like Asparagus, Spinach, Wild rice, Garlic mashed potatoes, and Salad!!! The Bourbon Glazed Salmon was yummy!!!! The fish sandwich was too!!! Perfect timing....there was no wait! They have plenty of seating and parking available! This is a great place to relax, spend time with family, and enjoy a great meal!!!!Our server Jessica was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional!!! They also have nice pieces of art available to purchase!

My experience at Jaquas was truly exceptional. The food was delicious and high quality. Our server, Marcus, was friendly and made great food recommendations. We loved the love music and will definitely come back to try their Sunday brunch.

If there was a -10 star, then that's what I would have picked. Every year 10 friends get together for a holiday gift exchange. We made reservations a month ahead of time. We get there and there is already 5 other tables full and we are told there is only 1 waitress in the whole place. We all sit there for a good 20 minutes and one of us finally went and got menus for everyone. By now it's 6:30. Finally the waitress gets to our table and we all decided to place our order because who knows when she'll be back. I ordered the garlic salmon as well as 2 other people. And we wait... After a good 20 minutes someone( I think the owner) comes over to tell us there is no more salmon. What? I should have already been eating. So we changed our order and tried to have a pleasant time. Finally getting our order over an hour after originally ordering. The fish I got was dry and I had to ask for some garlic butter. The restaurant never offered to give us any discount for our horrible time. I would never recommend this place or go back. Food was poor for the price and we obviously didn't have a great experience for our holiday party. I came from an hour away and was super disappointed ☹️

We did some Christmas shopping at the Greene and stopped in for dinner. We started with the veggie delight flatbread. Very colorful assortment of fresh veggies and mushrooms sit on top of a nice marinara sauce on a good flatbread. The banana peppers gave it the right amount of acid to balance it out. We really liked it!Next I had the wedge salad and the charred Brussel sprouts. The wedge salad is modest in size (thats perfect!) and put together very nice. Multi colored cherry tomatoes, nice dressing, blue cheese and very crispy bacon. The charred Brussels was a sizable portion with a delicious mix of Brussel sprouts, bacon and a balsamic reduction. I even used one of the buns to collect some of excess balsamic! We liked it all!My SO also had a wedge salad and the risotto. The risotto was perfectly cooked Al dente and delicious. This place was a hit for us ! As Arnold said, 'I'll be back'!

Poorly trained wait staff. Menu is full of "fried & heavy food". Over salty. We won't be coming back - too bad because we love the Greene.

Stopped in for brunch today... the absolute worst breakfast we have ever had and extremely over priced. Yes they have prime rib that is ok...but the scrambled eggs were cold, over cooked and flavorless, sausage gravy was more like warm milk than gravy. And not at all brunch... aside from the miserably breakfast fare they had some dried out chicken and green beans. Neither of us even finished our plate... normally the waiter would ask how the food was... instead he just said "you must not have been hungry".

The server Jess was outstanding. Excellent spinach-artichoke appetizer. I chose the prime rib for the main coarse. Perfectly seasoned, medium rare with homemade horseradish. The horseradish could have had a bit more kick. The portions were good and the total meal was excellent.I will be back and highly recommend.Coodles to Chef Sal.

First off, consider this place if you'd like to impress someone. Wife and I stopped in for a glass of wine and a couple of appetizers. The staff was very friendly, and the appetizers were perfect both in taste and presentation. We are looking forward to having dinner there soon.
