Food was good as usual. Knocked off one star due to drink order not correct a couple of times in the same visit. They also forgot my daughter’s pickle with her meal. Not a huge deal, we will be back to eat.

First time there in a while. Had a nice Rubin and the Red beans and rice with my choose two.
I liked it!
So disappointing. I met with a group of 4 and it was pretty slow that day (Monday evening). I got the Pick 2 - broccoli cheddar soup and a honey BBQ pork spud. When I got my order along with all others, I didnt think anything of it. My spud came to me with just the honey mustard, nothing more. No cheese, no pulled pork... just the honey mustard sauce on it. I was too engrossed in conversation to not have realized it to say something. If it was busy and it happened, that'd be one thing, but it wasn't. It was very quiet and slow in there. I should have said something but I didn't. They should have known it when they made it. But after seeing some of these godawful reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence there. Not sure how they stay in business. I should have never tipped them until after getting the meal. Lesson learned. There's plenty of restaurant choices around to not have to resort to this place. What a disappointment. I miss Jason's Deli right across the street. That was always our go-to. Get it together, McAlister's!

Food: One slice of lunch meat on our sandwiches. Very disappointing and underwhelming!
Service: employees didn’t make eye contact, smile, or anything that resembled common courtesy or friendliness. Waited at the front counter to get refill and no one even acknowledged or asked if I needed anything. I stood there for 10 minutes and two employees walked right past me, no eye contact, no “hello”, or “can I help you?”
Note to Manager and/or franchise owner: when you interview someone, see if they at least smile. Front of the house
employees need to at least be able to make eye contact and smile! (Friendly) human interaction is a prerequisite in the food service industry. I would suggest fixing these issues fast or this location will fail.

Today just wasn't the right day to eat in.
People kept cutting in line because they weren't aware the line starts in the middle. Unfortunately it was very under-staffed in the dinning room; so the registers weren't covered while food was running. There were other things happening in the kitchen too it seemed. My family just left.

I’ve usually had decent experiences however today was ridiculous. The cashier seemed bothered she had to come to the register for our order… when the food did come, the short red head was holding a sandwich I didn’t order and I said I didn’t order that she got snarky and said well this is what they rang in so if I want something different I’d have to re order.
The manager came out tried to be nice and re made the food- however the quality was sub par o didn’t even eat it. Then this “manager” proceeded to stand at the table next to us and carry on a conversation about how there’s just so much complaining today. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Will not be returning.

$10 for a gallon of sweet tea! We don’t live in that kind of economy! Won’t be back.

I would recommend not tipping before you obtain your order. Also, before leaving check everything, open containers to make sure things are correct. It had been several years since I purchased from here and now I remember why. Something was always wrong with my orders.
The reason people tip is to ensure good service, it is not an entitlement. Even though my order was very a large order. One Pic 2 of salad and soup, second pick 2 of sandwich and soup, a bowl of soup and cookies, I would like to get what I paid for. I tipped 30%, over 10.00 on that order. I tipped when I ordered and gave them another 5.00 when I picked up the order, was that not enough of a tip? I understand the store had another customer, only one table occupied and no one in line when I arrived. It just doesn't make sense to me why the orders are correct. I stopped coming there because of the aggravation. Please don't tell people to return to get their orders corrected. We just can't pick up and leave sick and dying patients to get what we paid for.
I figure it would take 10 minutes to put soup in containers, lettuce in container and prepare a sandwich. Tipping 10.00 for an order like mine would equate to 60.00 an hour in addition to what the company pays an employee. It sounds alot more lucrative than nursing.
Good news is, the economy is robust, new businesses are popping up everywhere.
First time in here, it's really dark inside where the seating is. The line was long and slow, there are 3 people behind the counter, one ringing people up, 2 others pretty much standing there getting occasional drink or order, they could easily take orders and get the line down. The app was down, yet there was no way of knowing until you go in. The cashier said rewards were down as well and I couldn't get my items. One of the ladies who was not on a register rung it thru and gave it to me.
If your rewards are down, don't turn people away, they won't come back.
Prices are terrible for the quantity of food, a cookie is over $2 and the 89¢ one inside Subway at Walmart tasted so much better.
Short on help but probably not their fault.
McAlister's food is always pretty good. Fresh. Tasty. Nothing special but consistently good. And I often order it for delivery since I WFH. Their tortilla soup was as always super good today, and they take care to wrap the container in cling film to ensure it never spills. In general, their food typically travels well and is packaged well. Or so I thought until today... I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, add cucumber. The picture shows what a mess it was. Impossible to pick up. Fell apart as soon as I unwrapped it, and had HUGE half inch or bigger slices of cucumber on it. No wonder it couldn't hold together! I ended up eating it with a fork, which made for a soggy, disappointing meal, TBH. Partly my mistake for ordering a croissant sandwich for delivery, I guess, but I've ordered it before and it's never been this poorly put together.
