Mode X Tequila Bistro

We loved our dinner at Mode X. I had the snapper and my wife had the carnitas steak. Everything was amazing. But the service set it apart. They made us feel like celebrities.

Great food and service. Drinks are made reasonably well. Unfortunately, the really screwed up my old fashion—it was too sweet. I've had old fashions there before that was made to perfection. I'm not sure what happened this time.

Everything was GREAT, the service was really good. The food and drinks were exceptional. It has been a long time since we have had a dinning experience that everything was GREAT. The drinks came out with these cute little light and they tasted great. The food was exceptional, the rib-eye chicharron can be a meal by itself. The New York strip was cooked to a perfection. The carrot cake was very good. Everything from start to finish was just really good.

There was construction going on during dinner. Also the waiter spilled a drink all over my girlfriend and didn't apologize. Food tasted good though, just a bit overpriced.

Oh happy surprise! We were dining out to celebrate daughter's and SIL's 2nd wedding anniversary . Mode X was located conveniently across from the theater, so there we were Sunday night at 6:30... discovering my new favorite restaurant, as good as anything I have experienced in Ohio. It began with a cocktail—there is a really nice selection—I chose the Espresso Martini—the best ever with a little happy surprise in the bottom. Next came a starter for the table-Bread and Butter. Sounds so simple and boring but it is anything but—it starts with artisan bread and is served with raspberry butter and chihuahua cheese. I would come back at any hour just for this. Then the entree arrived—a beautiful piece of salmon with a heavenly sauce and a delicious side of mixed vegetable (must try it to experience the unique preparation). The salmon was large enough I took almost half of it home for lunch. There was a choice of salad or soup. Amazing since the salmon and side vegetable made for a very enjoyable meal. I chose the salad which was on par with everything that came before. Given the quality of the food, the flavors and freshness, the sophisticated atmosphere I cannot wait to go back!

Excellent meal at the bar. Came for Happy Hour (M-F, 3-6pm) which is a great deal, especially on Wed, where they have deals on apps and margs, but also half off bottles of wine and $5 martinis! My extra dirty martini was delicious - ice cold. The flautas are my favorite. Crispy, well seasoned chicken, and the homemade verde sauce is drinkable. The service was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Great meal. 6 of us all had different dishes and everyone loved their food. Unique drinks with added flare. Definitely recommend

Everything we ordered tasted fabulous. The presentation was extraordinary. Great margaritas and the Queso Fuego was to die for. Our entrees were the Outlaw Tacos and the Short Rib Risotto. Both were great! Highly recommend!!! I'd give more than 5 star if I could.

Great service. Food was creative but a bit pricey probably because of the location. Had carnitas with tasty tomatillo sauce. Guacamole was good also

First visit to Mode x and cannot wait to return and try dinner. Brunch was fantastic. Very nice atmosphere, beyond great service, and food was a hit with whole group. Bloody Mary's were some of best anywhere. Chilaquiles, best of best! Also enjoyed huge bunch of pancakes plus huevos rancheros with blue corn tortillas and fresh fruit.

Very nice experience! The food is not your traditional mexican style that you would expect. The food, price ans atmosphere has a upscale vibe.

A beautiful space that we chose for brunch on Sunday. There was no crowd, no wait. The waitstaff was absolutely lovely, and the food blew my mind. I had the Buenos Dias Burrito, and my husband had Eggs Benedict. The food was served quickly, and my burrito was perfectly crisp on the outside, with delicious chorizo, black beans, and eggs inside. It was served with sour cream, pico de gallo, and an outstanding avocado sauce. My husband’s dish was perfectly plated with thick slices of Canadian bacon and the most delicate, creamy Hollandaise sauce. I don’t know if this place gets a lot of traffic but do not sleep on their weekend Brunch!

Fabulous food every time. Chef accommodates dietary sensitivities and is so kind! Happy hour at the bar, and tons of tequila options. One of my favorites!
