I ordered a Halloween ghost/haunted house cake for my son's 9th birthday. With little to no details provided on my behalf, I felt the cake turned out beautifully and was delicious too! It was the centerpiece of my son's birthday. I was also shocked by how reasonably priced the cake was, considering all of the time and effort that had to have gone into decorating it. I do not recommend Rachel bakes. I ordered a chocolate cake with blue frosting for a boy baby shower. They made the frosting green.I didn't have time to have them fix it before the shower. The cake tasted ok but it was nothing special and it should have been special for the high price I paid.When I walked in the store to pick up the cake a worker at the counter completely ignored me. When I said I was picking up a cake she just grunted. Finally someone else came from the back to help me. I will not be going back to Rachel Bakes based on my poor experience with the cake I got and their unfriendly staff. I cannot recommend them for cakes.

The most gorgeous of cakes for my girls 5th birthday!I couldn't have been more blow away. They spent a good deal of time discussing the details, were very upfront about the cost and even allowed me to call right back and make a change to the initial order. We found this place, almost by accident. Heading to Dots, we decided to stop in to see what Easter cakes they had left. Luckily for us, they had a few left, so we took two home for a family Easter party. Both were absolutely just as AMAZING as they were beautiful.Update: Knocked it out of the park, again! We loved the easter cakes so much that we ordered our daughter's birthday cake, and it was perfect! My wife found a photo on Pinterest, sent it to Rachel Bakes, and they absolutely nailed it! Not only was it beautiful, it was also delicious!

These folks are amazing! Did a cutting cake and cupcakes for my daughter's wedding last weekend. (We added the edible flowers.) They were so good! People were raving about them! Were great to work with, even changed the delivery for me at the last minute. Highly recommend!

This cake was the best I've ever gotten, and it wasn't even close. Wow!!!????When I called to order a cake from Rachel Bakes & Co., it was the first time ordering from this business, so I was a little concerned. I ordered over the phone and talked to a kind man named Nathan. I was shocked when I had to pay 2 times what I normally pay for a 1/4 sheet cake($60+). I was feeling maybe I was not spending my money wisely. However, I took a deep breath and remembered the images of the cakes on the website, and hoped that this very expensive birthday cake wouldn't disappoint. I could tell there was an artist on the team. So when I requested a Ratatouille themed cake, I pretty much just told them to "surprise me with your skills!"Once we had the cake and the guest and birthday boy saw the detail, their mouths dropped open! The icing broccoli and each drop of icing to make it?, the blueberries had the 3 little realistic portion that attaches to the stem?, the grapes draped over the cake and down the front?! Everyone was wowed! The "jury was still out" though....because we still needed to taste it. ? From past experiences from other businesses, we would get a great looking cake, but it would be dry and flavorless. Then the big smiles broke out! It was fantastic in taste too!! Well done!!!???? One guest even asked for the website link. Do I get a commission now???The attached photo doesn't do it justice. Truly.I can't afford to order cakes often from this business, but any special cakes will definitely be! Also, I grabbed a cookie from there, and it was awesome!!

I want to preempt this by saying I absolutely hold myself accountable for not carefully looking at the cake before I drove home.She was lovely when showing me the cake. It truly is stunning. But when I called and explained to them the misspelling she was extremely flippant with her apology. She did confirm to me the order had the correct spelling. Someone did not double check their work upon completion.When I went to take the cake back for the correction she stayed in the back, and did not come out to at least apologize in person. The girl who took the cake to the owner and brought it back was kind, another store employee acted as if I did not exist.The correction was made, the cake is beautiful, all is well, but I was so very disappointed in the lack of remorse and coldness to me while on the phone.It was my error for not closely inspecting the cake. I did not ask for a refund, nor a discount. I just wanted a genuine apology.

They did a wonderful job on this nugget cake! I asked for a McDonald’s nugget cake with sweet and sour sauce, with no real direction, and they delivered! Everyone loved the cake and the design. 10/10 recommend.

This was my first time ordering from Rachel Bakes and it was an awesome experience from beginning to end. My Dad was thrilled with his birthday cake. The decoration was just what I wanted and the cake itself was incredibly moist and delicious. I’ll be using Rachel Bakes for all of my cake orders from now on!
