I love Spinoza's for many reasons. Good customer service and good gourmet pizza and salads. There are many reviews about their pizzas and their salads. but I want to talk about a good cup of coffee and homemade ice cream. The coffee is not fancy but great coffee and their roasted strawberry ice cream is the best ice cream I've ever had! Spinoza's is a small business also, a bonus! Ordered takeout. The pizza was alright - not phenomenal and the swirl bread was barely cheesy and mainly dough. Overall, the food tasted fresh, but I'm not a fan of the crust. Very plain and not a lot of flavor or seasoning - maybe that's why some people like it. Will try it again if I can and may change my review. Just not worth it for the price for me.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We were sat right away, and service was quick throughout our visit. I ordered the spicy pepperoni pizza and my partner ordered the Jamaican pizza. Both were pretty good. Only thing was the the garlic "dipping" sauce was so thick and creamy that it was a bit overpowering. Next time we will have to try some of their bar drinks!
