Came last night for dinner and got a table for 2 with my husband. Sat for at least 10-15 min and no one came to greet our table or even let us know they’d be with us shortly so we got up and moved to the bar. Place was somewhat busy and might have been understaffed but a simple, “hey I’ll be right with you guys” goes a long way ya know? Bartenders were nice. Tried to order happy hour items 5 min after 6 o clock when the cut off is but bartender said no which was a little disappointing seeing as how we waited at our table since 5:45 with no service. (Would’ve increased their tip for sure) food was excellent and came out pretty quick. Might try the rookwood location in the future.

Food (Fish & Chips) was GREAT & so was the service, until I ordered a WEDGE salad to go. The WEDGE salad was a few pieces of wilted lettuce... Glad I checked before I left. When I asked the server about what was sent out, she got attitudinal. I gave it back and told her to take it off my bill. I wanted a wedge salad (which is on their menu)... Not a deconstructed conundrum. Change the name on the menu... WEDGE Salad is such, globally -- Even in the UK.

me and my sister visited this location and first off our drinks were wrong, the guy who was our server was hitting on my clearly married sister and then our appetizer came out with our food. our food was undercooked and we didn’t even get refills until we were done eating and asked for the check. it seemed overpriced for everything we had to deal with and there’s plenty of other good pubs in the area.

food was great, service was great, the only reason it’s getting 4 stars and not 5 is that we were seated under an air conditioner vent that was leaking water onto our booth. genuinely though we will definitely be coming back because it was really good!
