Not sure if this place has closed temporarily or permanently. They were closed when we arrived two weekends ago even though they were supposed to be open. There was a handwritten sign at the door stating they were "Sorry we are closed." This has sadly happened to us twice previously even before COVID-19 and we always try to give them a second (or third or fourth) chance. When we occasionally dined before COVID-19, our dining experience was decent. Their dishes aren't authentic, but at least they try to keep it authentic. Nice try, though. Paying by cash gives you a small discount. ------------ Thanks for your prompt reply, Lorenz. It would be helpful if you can make a note in your restaurant website that you guys are closed temporarily due to a major gas leak so we don't have to be disappointed when we arrive at Dai Trang Bistro expecting to dine.

Tough barbecue meat and expensive. Lumpia is yuck, greasy and not tasty. Not going back anymore. You can go Columbus and visit KUYA IAN’S their foods are more flavorful.

These people enticed my 15 year old daughter to leave a decent job and work for them. They promised good training and good pay. It ended up being awful. No training. They left her to run the entire public facing operation by herself with no help. Waiting on 15 tables. Bussing. Running food. Taking orders. Running cash register. This would be tough for a staff of 4 people. Asking a 15 year old girl to do it by herself for 8+ hours with no breaks and yelling at her for making mistakes is beyond draconian. Also having 1 person handle hard currency and run food is disgusting and dangerous. If the labor relations board and health departments were doing their jobs, this place would be shut down. Shame on this place!

First time eating here as we just visiting for the weekend. My parents loved the food. Not gonna lie, the and the menudo had too much pepper, but it was not bad. We still ate it. Customer service was PEFRECT! We ate here on a Sunday so it wasn’t busy at all. The only thing that can be done is the AC - it was so hot, but again, that’s not one to give this place a bad rating. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE who loves Filipino food. We’re Filipino and approve of this place! Will definitely go back!’

I’m so glad we finally found authentic Asian food in west chester. Not many places can tackle authentic fusion and get all the mixes of flavors correct, but this place nailed it. I was so impressed by the Korean bulgolgi and the Filipino pancit. The place is homey and you can tell it’s family owned, in the best way. This is a great place for mixed family dynamics, you can get the taste of home from several different Asian countries. 5/5.

The Sisig had ginger and was too soupy. it was also not crunchy and taste was not good. The egg is overcooked.

Had food catered from there for a house party filled with filipinos and vietnamese, so the food had to be authentic and good, and luckily everyone was impressed by the food. I greatly enjoyed the Korean Street dogs and vietnamese fried rice. Staff was very friendly and helpful, will definitely be going there again in the near future.

This is the families new favorite spot. Came here years ago when visiting family. We just moved back to town and came in this evening for dinner, and wow. Best food I have had in a really long time. The only place I have had in many YEARS that makes pork Sisig the traditional way. So good. Sinigang was delicious as well. Can’t wait to head back next week with co workers.

Halo halo!!!!!! So happy I found halo halo in Ohio. Bubble tea was good, try taro or honeydew. Pancit was so good, my picky kids even devoured it. The lechon was so crispy. I couldn’t get enough.

Horrible customer service and long wait for bad food. 30 minutes after ordering we got our lumpia. Asked for spicy suka and the waiter gave me soy sauce sawsawan with onions, tomatoes, etc. We let it go and didn't say anything cause it was just a teenager working by himself and we felt bad for him. Waited forever for our food and finally got it and our sisig. The skillet platter it came in was not hot enough to cook the raw egg after we mixed it. I politely asked if they could take it back and reheat the skillet because I'm pregnant, which is besides the point since it's unsafe for any person to eat raw egg, and absolutely cannot risk it with the raw egg. The sisig was never picked up to get cooked more. Waited around for 15 minutes and I finally went up to the counter to ask the waiter to just give us a refund for the inedible, raw food and grab the check. He pointed to a sign and I was told they don't give any sort of refund even though we literally did not even touch the food because it wasn't safe to consume. He came out with the sisig and said that they stir fried it for me, even after I told him that I will not be taking it especially after it sat around for so long. Talked to a "manager" and their "chef" if that's what they wanna call themselves who were absolutely rude and did not care at all about safety and customer service. Offered a gift certificate which would be pointless since I will never come back to this place again. Just asked for my check so I can get out of there because it was clearly not going to go anywhere. And I was threatened by their "chef" that everything I said was recorded. Which is GREAT because in addition to my pictures and recordings, now the Department of Health can see it when they need proof of how this business addresses food safety. The rest of the food was also so bad and the dinuguan had nasty globs of cold meat (honestly, I'm not even sure what it was). None of the food tasted like authentic Filipino. The spaghetti didn't taste like Filipino spaghetti. It was wasteful but we only ate a few bites and left the rest of the food. Horrific experience and do not recommend this to anyone. The only recommendation I have is for people to stay far away from this place.

I ordered 40 egg rolls for a certain date and I called and followed up the day before the agreed pick up date only to be told that my “order” was supposed to be picked up last week. They got the date wrong and said if I wanted my egg rolls then I’d have to pay for a whole new order. I tried to reason with them but all I got was, ‘Oh I gotcha. Unfortunately we called and we talked to someone.’ They might have called but they certainly did not talk to me nor left me a voicemail. Unfortunate because I drive an hour to come to this place and have been a patron since 2015. Now they’ve lost my business.

This is by far the worst filipino restaurant we've ever been to. The food takes forever to come out, tastes very plain, we left on the table more than half of it, the ceiling is disgusting from long ago water damage. Dirty dishes, the only waiter in place diapers for a long time, we had to go to the kitchen few times to ask for service. Chairs are low quality hurting your back and behind. I'd prefer any street filipino restaurant over this place. A bad experience. We really want to support small businesses, but this one is a disgrace to privately own restaurant.

Visited OH and was looking for a good place to have an asian food, google showed good reviews on this restaurant and we gave it a try. We ordered Filipino food as advertize Palabok and nilagang baka.. the nilaga is good the palabok is salty.. we also ordered banana and thai tea which taste like water and flavoring not sure how they measure the mix ☹ . I also have to ask the server to replace our untensils as its not clean ☹.

It was our first time here in a while. Went above and beyond our expectations. Food was great, We ordered Palabok Sisig Lechon Halo Halo Kare Kare and Bihon and it hit the spot. Took me back to my roots and my moms cooking. Staff was very kind, witnessed another customer act very foolish to staff. Our waiter was working in the front and the kitchen, and was doing his best to keep up with calls drinks and customers. Very sad to see their staff be harassed by an upset customer, the behavior I witnessed was the same you would see from an upset child. The staff remained very professional with a smile on their face during the whole “performance” can’t say that I would have been able to stay calm in their shoes. Come on people there is a national job shortage, be patient with the people who do show up. Any way rant over, loved the food, will be back soon with friends to try the buffet. I can’t believe I have been missing out in this place! In my top 3 favorite restaurants now!Ps….. if you were the outrageously rude customer I witnessed I paid right behind you & noticed you didn’t tip so I tipped the young man for you.
