Voodoo Brewing Co - West Chester, OH

Went in on a Wednesday night. Absolute ghost town. One person working the entire restaurant. Two other employees sat in the corner while one guy worked the bar AND cooked our meals. He didn't really seem to know what food or drinks they had on the menu. Food was mediocre, at best. Oh, it was pretty expensive too. Not really sure how they're still open.

We came on a Wednesday and the place was very empty. The beer is excellent. Service is great. We shared a turkey sandwich- pub chips with the Cajun ranch is superb! The nachos are really good- could use more meat. Really enjoyed it!

Beer was good and food was pretty good, I have to give this a 2 star because of pricing. Really seems like they are price gauging with $9 beers and $17 salads. The salad we got was not worth $17 and was the size of a side salad. If you are going to charge customers ridiculous prices, make the amount of food worth it. Still won’t be going back when I can go to a brewery 5 min away that has $6 beers and cheaper food.

Initially I was excited to check this place out but put off visiting due to the bad reviews. Unfortunately, it was even worse than I’d heard. $19.98 for three shrimp tacos. That’s almost $7 per taco and look at the picture I shared and tell me if you’d spend $7 for a tiny taco with barely anything on it like that? Had watery sauce on it and little else. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was passable, but the “pub chips” that came with it were not good at all, just cold, stale, and bland. Seemed days old. My girlfriend got the pulled pork nachos and said they were also cold. Worst food I’ve been served at a restaurant in years.

Wanted to say first our server was very nice and prompt. We did not wait long for food, but the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived. We probably should have said more in the moment but I am not good at confrontation and decided not to. We had several dirty dishes included a plate in the stack of appetizer plates and lipstick marks on my husband's glass. Some of the food was ok, but two sandwiches advertised as shrimp and chicken po boy had three shrimp and 2 small pieces of chicken for $15/16. 3 shrimp tacos had only 2 shrimp per taco for around $15 as well. The jumbo pretzel was excellent and the best value among everything we had.

Very chill atmosphere! Server was attentive and very helpful! Had a pineapple mango crush cocktail- was delicious. Drinks came quick as well. Even willing to make a margarita not listed on the menu! Wide range of food options as well. Plenty of seating all around (high tops, bar seating, outdoor seating).
