This place is great! Tried it on a whim. Got side salad, 6 wing dinner with yams and Mac n cheese. We split it and it was enough food for 2 people. The wings were crunchy and crispy. No sauce but really good. Sides were fantastic. Yams sweet and good. Mac n cheese creamy. So good! We put cheese on the salad but it was decent. Place is small and you can't eat inside. Strictly take out. We called our order in and the guy on the phone was nice. They are super busy. They were running at an hour on a Friday night. We called around 6. That was the only down side. But then you know your food is fresh. Definite return!

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, but because it’s tiny and in a shopping plaza we admittedly kind of forgot about it. DO NOT make the same mistake! I saw the smoke coming from the back and could smell goodness immediately. I didn’t order anything because I already had my dinner, but my son did. He got a burger and fries. But this was not your ordinary burger and fries.I smelled it, took one look and had to have a bite. It legitimately made me cheat on my diet! The fries remind us of my late southern father’s hand cut, kettle cooked fries. Oh, they were so good. But that burger! The burger was huge. Tasted like it was done on a grill. I only tried a little piece of the meat itself, but that was enough to get the smokiness and seasoning. My son loved it and he’s our burger connoisseur.Lastly, I’d like to mention how kind the owner/chef is. I went back in to grab a a menu and compliment the food. He mentioned the prices going up and apologetic for the wait, but please don’t! The cost of the burger and fries was more than reasonable and waiting for good, fresh food on a busy Saturday is worth it. It wasn’t very long at all, but nice to see he cares. We will be back and can’t wait to try more. Kudos.

I only gave them one star because google would not let me give them “0”.The catfish dinner i got had three lil hush puppies, small portion of “quickly prepared store bought fries” the catfish was horrible and the guy who worked there said people like that the best ?. The catfish was half done? i asked for it to be well done. Never going back and they probably will not be open that long and if so, i will be disapointed????P.S. forget the money i wasted close your garbage food selling store please?????.P.S.S. My family from the south you may get that weak imatation soulfood off on someone in bedford??

The food was affordable, the cook was very friendly and accommodating, it was close by, and the food is by far the best tasting food I’ve had really since Covid. I almost lost faith in the restaurants in Cleveland but I’m seriously happy. I got the 3pc wing with 2 pc fish, spaghetti, 8 whole wings with Mac an cheese an yams. Not a paid review an no I don’t work there lol. It’s definitely worth going and I’ll definitely be back

Living 2 mins away and forever in the plaza..never knew they existed...found them by on Google. Everything we ordered was great..nice and hot...I loved those yams...my brother enjoyed the chicken Philly & steak...my nephew enjoyed his chicken strips...the sauce was on point..we as a family..will continue to be customers!
